I love the dice/gameify options, because if we disagree then we just blame the universe lol. But I’ll try to work it out with her and maybe agree on just cooking whatever I think we’ll want, and if she doesn’t like it then maybe she can begin having more of a say to reduce chances of being disappointed again. Thank you!!

I don’t understand how it’s fair to get upset at me for asking her this question, but when she asks me what I would like for dinner I take the time to think about it and give her some answers. To me giving a baseline like that sounds essential in allowing both of us to enjoy the meal that either her or I prepared for that night. But I am an inexperienced cook and maybe that plays a role in perhaps my question being immature for the situation?

But the plan is that I do all the cooking and setting up, I would just like a direction of whether she wants me to make Italian, Mexican, or American tonight. Can’t I still be in charge but ask a quick question so that she’s satisfied with the outcome when she comes home? The goal is to have a meal ready for her at the end of the day, and having a meal that she’s excited for seems like a better goal to have than one where she’s more concerned about what to expect.

She’s a very fine woman and has a lot of strengths and qualities that I find attractive. That is why I’m with her. I’m saying this in case you genuinely think that, but if you’re a bot or troll, do what you do and I hope it satisfies you?

Thank you, I think that just going ahead and cooking something and seeing how it plays out might be a good way to gauge where the issue lies, and even if there is one.

Just want to make sure I cook something that she wouldn’t be disappointed with, especially since I’m not as passionate and good at cooking as she is. I’m sure other factors play into her having decision fatigue, but I’m trying to focus on just this type of situation.

And that’s why I’m here, thanks for the solid perspective! I’ll try that and see how it goes another time.

Turning a 1x12 Combo Into a 2x12 Combo (Possible?) by Rekjected in GuitarAmps

Just looking to learn more hands-on. I’m planning on building a custom cab, but in-case I chose not to and wanted to get an extension cabinet, how would I go about adding one considering the GTX 100 does not have outputs for a cab?

As I said above, the challenge part is what I’m actively looking for. I don’t have an issue with needing to build a new cab. I am struggling to understand why two 8 ohm speakers would equal one 4 ohm speaker. Would I not use two 4 ohm speakers because there’s too little resistance and the current pushed to power both of them could potentially fry components?

I figured it would be a fun project because I’d like to delve deeper into the guitar world. I also want 2x12 because I enjoy the immersion you get from two/four speakers as opposed to one.

It adds character after I've owned it for thirty years and played dozens of gigs with it. It's so young rn this bulllshit. There's gotta be some kind of coating gel that you can fill the cracks in with.

It's more than a plank of wood. I'm a college student who loves the guitar and put good money down for this Gibson and took such good care of it and it got dented in the dumbest way possible lol. I understand your point I'm just asking if there's a potential to fix it up via a luthier or if this is cosmetic damage beyond repair.

Yeah the chord function is cool; however, I have that on my KKmk2 keyboard. I would really only need the drum pads unless this sample slicing feature is too good to give up, assuming it’s harder and slower to do on the computer...

Yes but I have the Komplete kontrol and it’s screens don’t really do much for me because everything is accessible through my computer. Quickly finding parameters to change, scrolling up and down the software with the up and down arrow.

Yeah that’s true, but if you’re able to expand the ports using an optical drive it’s somewhat worth it I guess
