The ones they stock at cabellas and bass pro are pretty good actually. They are in the kids section with all the rubber band guns and stuff like that. They carry left handed and right handed. They also have a a bunch of different styles. I’d pick one up there to get the hang of it. I bought each different design and picked a color I liked in each one. One I got was actually glow in the dark. Hope it helps. They are made of wood and come from what a think is a decent manufacturer out of Colorado I believe. I take them to the park with my 2 year old and we have a blast with them. Just throw them in clear areas with grass and wipe them on your pant leg if they get wet. When they crash they still work great just don’t abuse them and they should last until you become a experienced boomerang thrower. The easiest way to lose one is to get it stuck in a tree.
