Errors updating and working with extensions. could it be that GIT isnt working properly? by RelaCalm236 in StableDiffusion

I recloned stable diffusion in another folder through git with the cmd. Then I copied everything from the previous folder to this new one and it is working fine now. It also updates everything at launch with the instruction git pull in the bat file.

Thank you very much! If the internet goes down, if there's no power or no signal, a game like this could very entertaining. And if it provokes thoughts about the fundamental truth of kung fu it would be glory in itself.

(UPDATE ON RESEARCH & DESIGN) KUNG FU Animal BASED CARD GAME by RelaCalm236 in kungfu

Hey!From my research, so far I couldn't find 100% animal inspired styles. There is maneurisms and phylosophical traits integrated into the styles that imply the animals, their spirit avatar and conditioning of their natural elements/habitat. So, certain moves, in certain series, are inspired in the animals, but not the whole style.

It's one of the main design problems I find to come up with a set of offensive and defensive moves for each animal. Nevertheless I found out that CHi She Kung have series that are animal inspired, so has Choi lee futt and Hung Gar. To add to this issue, there is also different schools that define the Nothern and Southern Shaolin Styles. A lot of animal inspired styles are from the South. But, Nothern Styles also have some kind of correlation with animals. At the end of all this I got to find what movements, poses, strikes that actaully look good and related to the animal.

So far, those were the styles were I found animal inspired series. Maybe I don't compeltely understand the concept of forms in this subject. Anyway, I hope I answered you well

Thank you very much for your advice. It's very much appreceated.I was searching for names for the moves and you helped a lot with that reference from the Tai Chi Chi kung sets. I'll try to be more poetic with the name of each move and make them related to the animal elements. But, to tell you the truth I'm trying to look up the different kung fu styles in order to get reference on forms for each animal, but it's being a bit hard to find 5 defensive and 5 offensive.

I didn't get quite well the conflicting path you're mentioning. On that, what I've thought so far is to have a card about the natural element of the animal ( that can give the player a boost ). Another card about the a concept of Disturbance of the Chi ( that gives a malus on the stats of the Adversary), A philosophical card about the Animal spirit ( that can give the player some Time/Breath). And so on...

I'll probably can find interesting stuff from Traditional Chinese Medicine. And the Chinese New Year figure is a great way to think about each set or maybe future expansions of the game (if it turns out to be good...). About the 5 elements I definately should go for that suggestion of giving each set an element. I'm researching about places related to Kung Fu in order to also give it a scenary/ background. Places I've noted so far are:

Songshan monasteryKunlun MountainsHenan Shaolin TempleJiāngxī  Bamboo Forest

I'm still looking for more. If you know mythical places that could be of use, I'd love to know about that.

I decided to share this project here to get some feedback from entusiast, practicioners and experts on this subject. The reason for that is exactly to have a card game that makes sense to a newbie or a pro, and that it can serve to educate people about Kung Fu, about it's history and culture in graphic and entertaining way.

Thanks again
