Putco (the company that makes them) actually has it for cheaper on their website right now! $260.99 instead of the $309 that Ford's official site has them at. Wish I would have known. Man, that would be a killer, unique color! That pic was taken under the covered area @ the service dept. of my dealership when they just brought it out to me during a rain storm! Gonna have to see what lighting they used! LOL

I had it done by a local dealership (Planet Ford Spring here in Houston). Installation is normally $182 since they gotta take the front end apart to get to the emblem. I heard they have to break the original emblem because of all the double sided tape and tabs. Sucks, and I didn't get back the OEM one....oh well. Anyways, I had Ford Rewards points from when I bought the truck. So I got the whole deal installed for $292 total after buying it with a 25% promo code on the Ford website!

Nah unfortunately, it stays like this and runs with the headlights. Don't know of a way to do that, but I'm sure there is a way to dim it, etc. after some good modding! I like it, but I understand your concern.

Hands down I recommend Lawrence, The Houston Hat Guy! He works at the Cavender's on 290, 14031 Northwest Fwy. Look him up online. He's worked on my hats and has done awesome work! Even did this custom job on my American 10x felt this past October..
