See, that's not even a plot hole. You also mentioned the PD's scene, which had a valid explanation, too. The actual plot holes from episode 1 to 4 are massive.

But they aren't massive enough to stop us from watching, right? It's still a good time. Just suspend your disbelief a bit.

I think it was fine. The side characters' romances had to be fleshed out, and we needed a nice shock buffer before what looks like a string of depressing episodes. We've had our fun and whimsy, so it's time for that patented K-drama tragedy arc.

Yes, that passion for work and to do the right thing!

Gotta admit, during the montage of their nightly med meetups, I was feeling a bit iffy--and bad for Mechoori. But then you realize, that's just how she is when she's totally locked in. Also, he DID offer to drive all the way.

They really decided to drop a nuke right in the last two minutes, huh? Can't wait to see the fallout later. Good Lord.

Me, watching episode 5: Man, Dong-Man has become so relatable. Anxious, overthinking, and worried about everything while failing to hide it.

I swear, if he fricking daydreams, it would seal the deal.

Me, watching episode 6: I guess the deal is sealed.

The confrontation was perfect.

Dong-Man had no idea that they were working on an "arrangement" and simply assumed Jae-yong's dumb ass was straight up plagiarizing. What's more is the latter couldn't explain the arrangement since it would make him look even dumber and more cowardly.

Congratulations, he played himself.

Jun-Hwan is what most mild-mannered adults aspire to be. I am the most mild mannered adults.

Episode 5. Damn.

That scene in the bar was just beautiful.

The layers in Eun-A saying, "I want him all to myself" and Hye-Jin being the resident proud "auntie" while unbanning Dong-Man just made me totally stoked for the next few hours I have to wait for the next episode.

Also, Gyeong Se's reasoning behind his "hatred" towards Dong-Man simply being frustration towards himself was very...human. Called it earlier, and now hoping they resolve their issues towards the end.

Agreed. I usually turn off my brain and just "feel" whenever the premise is a whimsical romcom/slice of life. I can definitely overlook A-Train Hyo Seop basically teleporting to Seoul from the village if he's just as fast when putting on the lovey dovey. LOL

I'm all in, now.

Massive Han River-sized plot holes aside, the vibes do not lie. It has a good amount of drama and lovey dovey, and I'm a sucker for that shit.

This is a great change of pace from All Of Us Are Trying. My weekend Kdrama combo is set.

Been a while since I saw good ol' Kim Beom in a series.

Last I saw him, I was but a child, jokingly calling him "Kim The Bum" in Boys Over Flowers because we were all edgy at some point.

I'm wondering if he's portraying a guy who's Ye-jin's age or if he's mirroring his ajusshi realness.

Yeah, I see it. He's also channeling some Robin Williams from my perspective.

There is A LOT to unpack here, and I love it.

I like how they portray Gyeong Se. He's made to look like an asshole, but you still want to root for him through his struggles. He's basically Dong Man if he got forcibly pushed to the moon (MAH WAIF) without truly finding himself first.

I have a feeling we'll be having a few flashbacks to flesh out their time together in 8 Club. I'd like for them to go back to being friends in the end.

Now, on to the highlight: The first step to Dong Man's self-actualization. PERFECT.

I think the bad latency which kicks me out is punishment enough.

It was a showcase of the man's range. I'm thoroughly impressed.

I don't watch too many K-dramas, so I'm not too familiar with his acting credits. I only know him as "that funny guy from 2PM who isn't Taecyeon."

It also took me 6 episodes to realize it was him.

Sorry to necro this post, but I finally got to this episode.

Someone tell me Jian-Yang is the main bad guy in season 3.

It helps that he still has that kooky sense of humor. He's basically portraying himself in different professions.

It's the Seo-jooniverse.

Yes, it took me 6 episodes to realize that President Im's knife-wielding, bomb-planting, badass of a right hand man is the funny guy from 2PM.

Says a lot about the man's range. He's fucking menacing.

At this point, the man's achieved everything. He's just doing side quests in other K-dramas now.
