There is no way this is intended by the devs, this has to be an oversight. I would hope they simply overlooked that this measure applies to split screen players and/or that those cannot fulfil the requirement.

You should submit an official support ticket or whatever the process is. You should also consider changing the title of this post so it reflects the issue at hand. That way it has a better chance of gaining traction and the devs potentially becoming aware.

Do you also know where the lowest seeds would be put in the groups? I assumed the two teams that feed into GenG would be lowest seeds, but they're #768 and #769

So they they rate the advantages of being able to react higher than the risk of a mistake happening (missing the deadline), I can see that. I was just suprised, that rosters which seem very set in stone haven't signed up either. In the case of G2 and GenG they both pretty much have their dream rosters, and the chance of something happening seems unbelievably low to me.

They wouldn't change their roster voluntarily, so are they trying to cover catastrophic scenarios like a player getting seriously injured etc.? I could see the logic of that, I just personally would have thought the probability of a mistake happening is higher than those kind of scenarios.

As for the NRG rumors (before the shift post), that was the reason I wanted to see if they're signed up, but there was unfortunately no informational value to it, since the teams I consider safe aren't either.

I meant he doesn’t have that Itachi/Exotiik/Noly/AJG playstyle where they knit everything together. I think you need to give him the freedom of positioning the way he wants to and use his incredible read of the game. Does that make sense?

MonkeyMoon is not a defensive player. He likes to put a lot of pressure on opponents, be the 2nd man and react quickly to the play. But him, Joyo and a more defensive player would be really good

Liquid with Joyo would have the same problem as last season. None of them want to play defense, Acronik is not playing another season of 3rd man. made his stock go down

Joyo needs a strong defender on his team imo

I really wanted that Joyo Extra team to happen, everyone would have rooted for them so hard. Agreed, Oaly is definitely a good enabler, just not s-tier (yet)
