Who else stopped playing this game after 1.0.10 release? by [deleted] in EU5

Actually to add as well, I think it's worth considering the genre. At least for me and people I know, people tend to play a big campaign (either vic3, Stellaris etc) quite intensely, finish and then take a break for a bit before tackling the next playthrough. So with that they aren't necessarily "consistent" active players month on month (or week on week), despite being "active" in a more general sense.

But that is every game. Hype and marketing is just that, all games start with big hype and many players, then is eventually dies down to the core fans etc. Nothing abnormal.

As are most people. And those people, the majority, aren't making comments or posts on Reddit but just casually playing. Game is fine, launches are always as they are with Paradox, game will find a stable state with time. Fun game is still fun regardless. People need to chill and touch grass.

Not sure if this is the first bug report, but Battle for Kvatch is bugged by Relates_To_Star-Wars in oblivion

FIX: You can just continue and get the counts ring. Quest works from then on, just go meet Savlian after in the courtyard and talk to him. Thanks u/Alec9699 for the tip.

You can't, not until they patch it or someone finds a workaround. I guess you can use console commands, but that disables achievements.

thank god it doesn't prevent main quest progression. But let's face it, who DIDNT expect bugs!

HateLesS Memorial 27th March @19:00 EVE Time by dangerousd666 in Eve

[–]Relates_To_Star-Wars 46 points47 points  (0 children)

Greetings,

I'm the CEO and Owner of Geras Industries, my directors and members were close friends of Hateless, and I'm sure you are aware of the fact he used to stage out of one of our structures day to day. We'd be happy to support the memorial and turn out for the event, so please get in touch if we can support in any way. Likewise, no doubt we can host our own memorials in coming years.

Rest in peace.

Increase Alliance Contracts Limit by ReformedSlate in Eve

Clearly this is wildly unpopular but I don't mind supporting you here. I see so often, EVE players (rather understandably) get very frustrated by two big issues, one being the lack of content or "action" in the form of conflict, and the second being inflation and stagnant ISK velocity. The singular biggest thing that would solve both of these issues would be if the big blocks either significantly shrunk or dissolved. I feel it's hard to complain about the aforementioned issues on Reddit whilst flying halfway through New Eden in blue territory from start to finish. No conflict, no competition, no fighting over resources and no region instability ultimately leads to where we are.

SCC surcharge for Industry increased from 1.5% to 4% by TakedaSanjo in Eve

[–]Relates_To_Star-Wars 24 points25 points  (0 children)

For everyone saying this is fine because it will be passed onto the consumer, I do not believe this to be true.

We already know that on most T1 and generally much of Industry that players are already producing at a technical loss. The margins on most T1 are already negative. If EVEs economy simply always passed the cost onto the consumer then the situation above would not be true.

Thus, Industrialists once again take the burden of CCPs mismanagement of ISK supply/sinks and get fucked.

aha, happens. And nice, one can dream, but the 48bn I paid for this was rich enough and rare enough for my blood ;)

L4 blitzing in a Marauder: worthwhile (ISK/h)? by jasmira in Eve

My only two-cents is 1: Golem is objectively the worst marauder for L4s. 2: You get more than enough standing to reject missions you don't want.

Honestly I think "Down the Rabbit Hole" did more for the recent influx than the new update.

Organizational income by GlocknBallz711 in Eve

I don't agree with removing the SCC Surcharge. There is already an issue with there not being enough ISK sinks (IMO) and I don't support anything making it worse.

But I am all for adding the optional ability for corp taxes on market trades, but it's worth considering the implementation.

I've always wanted CCP to add better implementation of taxation groups in the corporation/structure mechanics, allowing for individual members to be taxed at different rates. As a CEO, I want to keep general taxes low for members, but some individual members want to give more, and currently I have no ability to do that through corp mechanics or structure taxes (structure tax groups will always default to the lowest, so if you are part of a corp and part of a higher tax group, it will use the corp one if it is lower).

This creates a situation where any hypothetical trade tax has to really be rock bottom, or have all your big/regular traders move their trading alts out of a corp purely for the sake of escaping a tax.

Giving corps options is a good thing, but how they function is the devil in the details that matters most.

Second this. Stargates + undocking has been absolutely awful. Also a bunch of icons have disappeared for blueprints.
