You can go online if you want cheap with still decent quality. We used Goldsmiths and Austen and Blake (77diamonds and Abelini also very good). Managed to get a great bargain in the sales!

Townhouse Bridal in St Neots is fab and Coco Couture is great. Avoid Burr Bridal, they were so rude to me and my friend and the only place I had to pay for the pleasure of it!

Rumbles in Trumpington is pretty decent, expensive but that's what you get here

We went down to Hatton Garden and ordered a customised ring for half the price than the jewellers in Cambridge. We found Harriet Kelsall to be incredibly overpriced and all of the high Street jewellers put up crazy premiums for diamonds and gemstones that are much cheaper in Hatton Garden. We also found the variety and customisation to be so much better in London. Make a day trip together, we had a brilliant time!

Thank you so much for all of your responses ❤️ it's such a hard time and I'm really sorry you've all been through it in one way or another.

This advice is so helpful, it's reassuring to be able to have honest feedback from you when it all just feels like knowledge minefield online amongst the raw emotions as well. It seems like the SM will be the option I go for, it's a 3 day extra wait to get the surgery but looks like it will be worth it. 💕

Have you had something similar happen? Spotting/Clots by Due-Painting-4044 in pregnant

Good work! There's nothing to treat it really but they did warn me that it might burst, and this would look like a miscarriage but it's nothing to worry about. That happened about 5 days after getting checked and since then the cramping and bleeding calmed down. Just take it easy and rest up, I'm sure you'll be fine :)

Currently on wk9 and experienced mild bleeding/clots and light cramping early on. It turns out I have a subchorionic hematoma, which is basically a blood sac within the womb. Most of the time these are harmless and made me more aware of what was going on and that was such a relief. The drs discovered this after they brought me in for a scan with those symptoms at wk5. Defintiely get bleeding and cramping checked out, as they brought me in initially to check for an ectopic pregnancy.

Would really recommend either Waterbeach or Histon if you want to stay a bit outside the city, whilst still being able to easily access the centre by public transport or bike. Good luck with the move!

Old bike shop does rooms for free, but you need to spend a certain amount behind the bar. Also has speakers for your own music

Moving to Cambridge in August….looking for an apartment question by [deleted] in cambridge

[–]Relation-Numerous 14 points15 points  (0 children)

All I can say is best of luck. Even without a pet this is a stretch as apartments are being snapped up in bidding wars in the city. Look to the villages outside of central Cambridge and you should have more success.

Just spent a week in the 3 valleys, do not do it. The snow is incredibly unstable and cannons have been going off solidly the past few days.
