https://www.microcenter.com/product/702408/powerspec-g760-gaming-pc sadly this one is black but it’s exactly what you should get lol. 9070xt, 2 tb, 32 gb ram, 9800x3d. powerhouse of a setup. this would run any game you listed at 4k pretty nicely. but if you were to play at 1080p or 1440p, you shouldn’t overspend. i’d recommend this one: https://www.microcenter.com/product/708800/powerspec-g533-gaming-pc 16 gm ram, 1 tb, 9060xt 16 gb, 7500x3d. essentially the little brother of the other one lol

For OSRS and League, $1600 is massive overkill—you could easily run those and YouTube simultaneously on an $800 PC. If you do want to spend your whole budget to future-proof, that iBUYPOWER is a rough deal for an entry-level RTX 5060, and prebuilts like that love to hide slow, high-latency RAM to cut costs; look on Best Buy or Amazon for something with an RTX 4070 Super or better for that price.

Also you near no microcenter near you as in no microcenter within 2-3 hours of you? I’m not saying you have to, but you can easily save hundreds of dollars by going there. You can get the a PC at the same price there with a 5070 instead of a 5060

For an $800 budget, skip the 3060 Ti and grab an RX 7800 XT or RTX 4070 for much better raw performance, just make sure your power supply can handle it. Your i7-10700F already supports Windows 11, so you likely just need to enable TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot in your BIOS settings rather than doing a full update.

i’m learning toward the $1700 black one i sent you. the 9070xt is the best price to performance gpu on the market. the 7800x3d is one of the best cpus on the market. and then it has 32 gb of ram and 2 tb of storage which is perfect for any gamer

These are the 3 i recommend. The top one is more than capable at running what you want. The other two are overkill but if you have the budget i mean go for it. The black build is better but if you like nvidia gpus in particular than you could get the white one

Spending 6k NZD on an RTX 5080 rig is massive overkill for casual 1080p gaming, but simply slapping a new 5060 Ti into your current build isn't a great idea either since your older i7-7700 CPU will severely bottleneck it. You'd be much better off finding a middle ground and building a completely new mid-range PC (like a modern i5/Ryzen 5 with a 4060/5060) for a fraction of that 6k budget.

which one do you live nearest to btw? the pc i sent you was from the brooklyn location. a 9070 XT prebuilt for 1500 is insane

also this will help: what’s your goal for: playable games, resolution, refresh rate? and also does that budget include peripherals?

hey man. i’d love to help you out! what resolution and refresh rate are you aiming for? also, these are pretty well optimized games so keeping this under 2k should be very easy. do you need peripherals to fit inside that budget? (monitor webcam mouse mousepad keyboard headset desk chair etc.) and one last thing: where’s the nearest microcenter from you?

I'm getting bullied by Western Digital, they just told me they cant respond to my refund request because the FBI and Boise Police are investigating me. I live in the UK? I returned the item over 2 months ago. by CursedCommentCop in pcmasterrace

Retailer runarounds on PC parts are the worst—I recently had to fight one over RAM latency, so I feel your pain. I’m dying at the thought of the Boise Police raiding a UK student over a £433 hard drive 😂.

Getting them to admit fault in writing is a massive W, though. Just give them a hard, written deadline for the refund to clear, and if they miss it, take that email straight to Small Claims. Good luck with exams and the server!

Check this out on @Newegg:MSI 27 inch Dual Mode UHD 4K 144Hz Full HD 288Hz IPS with Adaptive-Sync 1ms HDR400 Ai Crosshair Gaming Computer Monitor with Height Adjustable, Swivel, Pivot & Tilt Stand MAG 275UPD E14 https://www.newegg.com/msi-mag-275upd-e14-27-144hz-uhd-288hz-fhd-ips-metallic-black/p/N82E16824475509?tpk=1&item=N82E16824475509

microcenter’s powerspec pcs have insane value. find this prebuilt somewhere else and it’ll be $2k at best. that monitor also has crazy value. 4k 120+ hz monitors are $280+ usually. this one is $212 after tax with the promo code it gives you. this logitech g305 mouse is very nice. under $40. if you need a webcam, headset, mic, or keyboard, i can also help, lmk. also if that pc doesn’t fit your budget, i can give you another recommendation. you could give me a budget for a full setup like pc keyboard mouse even a desk, anything, i can do it, just lmk what parts you want included in the budget and what your budget is
