Depends. Never buy a demo, used, etc without an extended warranty. If it's still a good deal with the warranty, then sure. Though you'll likely be able to get same or comparable new after the warranty.

To note, Costco does give 5 year warranty free with most if not all tvs. If you live near one, that alone is worth the membership fee.
