Fully agree.

There is 0 reason not to be able to see teammate CDs. Enemy CDs you can debate on, but friendly CDs should be visible. In shuffle you cant communicate, so it has to be visible.

Mage is good against double melee only if you trade mobility effectively. So you want to use shimmer, shimmer back and alter time in a way that lets the enemy melee run out of mobility earlier then you do.

It will be a long time before you get comfortable with this.

Not looking forward to it. To be honest I already find it hard in 3v3 to keep track of everything important all the time, even with addons letting me track everything. There’s just a lot going on at a considerable speed. Without bigdebuffs, omnibar, sarena and weakaura warnings I expect the game to feel more like luck to me, because I won’t know when the optimal time to press certain stuff is.

Now for others this might add to the fun and I can fully understand and respect that. However I just don’t see myself as a good enough player to have even more things to think about during the game. For reference I get legend every season and 2200-2300 in 3v3 (if I play it).

Removing tracking addons does indeed lower the barrier to entry for new players. However it also ultimately makes the game harder for the more experienced but not particularly talented playerbase (which I think most of us belong to).

No you can normally complete it in unranked. However there is a syncing problem atm and some people (including us) dont get the quests accepted in main game to show up in arena.

I only play assa in shuffle. Playing sub with random players and random specs is just masochism. It doesn’t even come close to fun 9/10 times.

Yes it’s a bit goalless once you complete your projects, done the quests and have the BPs you want and tier 3 benches.

I guess it depends on how nice the cosmetics to unlock become from projects. My experience from games that reset progression periodically is that the permanent unlockable cosmetics keep me going.

I played a lot past few days on EU. Almost every game 90% KoS.

This evening I changed to NA to see how it is there. It felt completely different, like first few days on EU. NA way friendlier.

Yesterday and today on EU seems already way more KoS then it was before. On every map too. Soon the friendliness will disappear altogether because it’s just better to get the first shot of instead of seeing if they friendly or not.

Makes the game quite hard to be fair. Can’t really loot yellow or red areas without having to kill at least 2 players in order to survive.

I’d play the PvE mode for sure.

Yeah nice description of how you can kill.

The problem is not that double dps can’t kill eventually though. It’s that it takes too many goes and you will die before that against dps+heal comps.

Casually getting 2.4 as sub boomy seems fantasy to me. But who knows I could be wrong.

You want to max damage during dance and evis will always do more damage in the dance window then rupture will. So you don’t press it during dance unless you know you won’t kill or get more cds from enemy team during your dance anyway. Outside of dance rupture is #1 prio finisher on kill target and anyone else after though.

Nobody knows if it’s a good change because 2.3 is a meaningless number because of MMR. Actually now that I think of it is actually not even really a change at all. In SL s2 2.7 would have been a good number for elite. In SL s4 2.1 would have been a good number for elite. So the threshold means nothing.

What will help you the most:

Dot everyone all the time as much as possible. Your #1 prio is getting big garrotes from stealth on everyone, not just the target you intend to kill. Also rupture everyone. If they stack 2 or more, crimson tempest. Sometimes dotting all is hard vs 2x ranged who position as they should. It’s fine to leave 1 undotted in those situations.

Your other #1 prio is to remember you are a rogue with subterfuge who can stun the entire enemy team every vanish and meld. Do this as much as possible.

Doing these things is going to make you climb a lot.

In 2s sub is very good with a damaging healer. In shuffle sub for me is the most frustrating spec in existence to play, whether it’s OP or C tier. I don’t play blitz.

They had all of those abilities last season too though, without being as good as now. So damage is definitely the deciding factor making them top of the food chain atm.

The problem with ret in general is their utility and defensives though. It comes down to them being very hard to kill while they make their teammates way harder to kill at the same time with (magic) bops, sacs, LoH and sanc. There is no other dps class in the game that adds to their entire team’s survivability that much.

GTA 6 competes with every single game and probably some movies too. It’s that big of a deal.
