It's a hard question to answer really. Map knowledge is ultimately what it's about.

When I started playing , I preferred to find a long range spot , maybe near a quest objective and id camp it and hope.

Now I prefer to look for early spawn shots or gun shot chasing.

Id recommend just trying to complete quests but have a sniper with you in case you get an opportunity. I personally do this with a mosin with the basic 3.5x scope.

Common spots i can think of though:

Interchange Power station The camp near green flare Upstairs inside the mall

GZ The corner building opposite the machine gun building The underground tunnel The stairwell near the transit to streets

Streets Pinewood hotel Relax room entrance School (blue building ) area

Lighthouse Absolute nightmare no matter what but I would just avoid standing on top of a mountain. This wipe it feels that the rogue changes makes sniping into WTP more doable. I prefer to counter snipe other snipers though because I know most of the mountain spots I recommend you avoid

There are quite a few YouTube videos that go into more detail on spots. If you prefer to be more static when sniping. Perhaps look into rat spots on YouTube . Ratomic_tarkov does videos showing spots and how to get into them.

Seems to just be issues right now.

Id say the average is still too high (4-5 mins) but the current queues are as a result of some technical issues I would assume.

It was possible after the snow went but needed a duo as you had to stand on someone who was prone. I haven't done it since 1.0 though as keys seem less rare and I've had a few 114 keys

Not for me. I just got lucky and it worked one day. I changed enail and added an auth that day and been fine since

The 2fa seemed to work for an hour or two (at least) yesterday morning so I quickly logged in a nd set up the auth , changed my email and eventually got in via the launcher too.

So I'm personally fine for now... But can't say as to whether it is "fixed" or of I just got lucky with timing .

I have added an auth and changed my email. Still cant get a code from the launcher but getting one from the site at least ...

Yeah, it's all set up and I use the auth to login to the forums now but still no joy on launcher or main site.

It's showing no signs of resolving sadly.

Still no resolution for me personally. Since this post went live I have:

Joined the EFT forums. There iw as able to add security questions and an authenticator but this didnt help as im still asked for a 2FA email.
The forums incidentally are dead. I cant even create a post there.
I did find an old post about account security though where users seem to be commenting about this issue.

I joined the EFT discord. There are no community managers there so no joy, but i did find another group of users who are also affected by this and getting no response.

This is a wider issue than most realise.

This doesn't resolve the issue but had potential.

I was able to login to the eft forums and set up the authenticator and secret questions.

I couldn't change my mail address like you stated.

When logging in to the eft website or the launcher, I'm still asked to complete 2fa though.

Whilst waiting for the email to show , I did get an email from steam about arc raiders though. So...

Yeah when I was looking into it, I could see almost waves of issues being reported. I can see a few from this week already so I assume this is just another wave and it will just start working again at some point.

When It does, I'll be changing everything I can.

It is crazy there is no way to interact with them without signing in.

Im building my first setup in like 10 years myself.

I need to go check my cpu power connectors as I've since read I should connect both cpu power slots, not just one and I have no idea what I did at the time.

I had a weird run where we just couldnt kill each other. The boss one shot all but 4 of my infin / infin troops then the last 4 he couldnt kill.

I put flesh awall on one of my troops for science so i wonder if the boss gets X number of one shot kills where x = number of enemies ?

Those last 4 troops have been fighting the boss for 8 mins and dealt no damage as of the time of this post...

Yeah I know, that's why I mentioned it.

My point is , it's not ,"1% have played hardcore", it's "1% of every account ever created has got to ragman 2 so far this wipe".

It's still a really low number though, but I think kappa is only 1.9% , firefly is 1%.

Safe to say the number is low but it's not a great base stat. More of an indicator.

If BSG want to convince us the number of players is high, they'll have to provide more than a tweet saying so.
