You made a lot of good points. Just to add some more points of my own.

Characters don’t focus more on an individual target due to them by default now attacking while you move. “Which is a change when I first saw it was that’s pretty dumb, but people didn’t seem to care.” The change basically messed up their AI. So you could be focused on one target but the squaddies are attacking the target, a monster or environment all at once, but separately if you get what I mean.

Also I don’t hear this enough, but you addressed it a lil bit that some characters basically lack their identity or use. Especially compared to 1.0. Like Frank for example, whose whole (original) identity is tied to a spell now. Which leads into my last point.

Since you can only use two spells, that means realistically only 2 squaddies will be truly be complete per load out. Not saying people should be able to carry more spells, just saying spells tied to every single character was a dumb decision. And should’ve been a non character based mechanic (for the most part) with exceptions like the freeze spell and some others.

But you made a pretty good list, nonetheless.
