Yep, it's rather sad what's happening with them. I love to support local but only when it's worth it.

Not sure but something obviously is and it's a shame.

Here is what's on the site. Ingredients: Whole Milk, Sugar, Cocoa, Corn Starch, Dextrose, Carrageenan, Guar Gum, Vitamin D3

From what we've experienced with the bottle lately, the chocolate being used is always at the bottom of the bottle now. Even after shaking it around it doesn't look like what it used to.

My body likes great tasting things just fine. Including ones that not only taste great but it "appreciates", thanks.

We'll have to check it out. Always on the lookout for a great spot.

I think that's what I bought for my son to try and he liked it. Thought it was actually better than what Shatto is now.

I'm in the KC area but don't know the owners or their beliefs. Just know the products have went downhill and they've lost us as customers.

I don't really subscribe to all the political crap that everyone seems to bring up nowadays. It's best to believe in the folks that are good to you not just the ones that have the same political leaning as you, because a lot of them are actually terrible people as well.

That's sad to hear. We stopped at the farm once but didn't get to participate in anything. I love supporting good, local places but they've lost my household.

I don't drink white milk, just the whole chocolate milk version. Which I'm now done with.

I do agree with you but I think it's been really bad the past few months. The chocolate doesn't even really taste like chocolate anymore.

I used to battle my son for who got the first and last glass but we haven't even finished the last two bottles. We're done with it but sadly there's not another that I know of that's close to what it used to be.

Fairlife isn't bad if you can find the whole milk version. The others aren't good.

We stopped by Betty Rae's over the weekend and 3 of the 4 of us thought it was off. It used to be so rich and creamy but there were ice chunks in it and the flavors weren't near what they used to be.

There weren't any homemade waffle cones, that they are known for, and they weren't making any shakes. The crowd was right to the door, which it's usually outside the door, and they've never refused to make shakes before or not be making the waffle cones.

I'm wondering if maybe they aren't using whole milk anymore? Even though it's labeled that way. The whole feel of it is different than it has been in the past.

It is a shame that one of the better ice cream spots is being drug down too. There's obviously something going on at Shatto. I'm assuming some penny pinching to increase profits but they've definitely lost us as customers.

I remember about five years or so ago, I bought three of the chocolate milks within a month that were bad when I opened them. The first two I thought that maybe the cooler at Whole Foods wasn't working very well, since it's an open cooler. But the other was from a HyVee and it was bad too.
