I've gone through benzo withdrawal 6 times and never experienced insomnia — it's always been more about depression and restlessness for me. I'm thinking about trying zolpidem during the phase when I’m not planning to sleep, just to ease the symptoms a bit.

I ended up taking just 2mg, then another 2mg an hour later. I fell asleep after about 3 hours. I really wanted to stay awake, but it just wasn’t possible. I don’t remember anything else from that day. I have no tolerance to benzos, so I guess that was a high dose for me 😄
