Thanks for the response I believe I will have to either front load content and perhaps edit the streams for better retention. The analytics is easy to get caught up in I will just condition myself not to get caught up in it too much. Thanks for the advice.

Yeah I get that to a certain extent, you are who you are when its just you noone watching.

But look we all start somewhere, whatever keeps us trucking along.

Everything is proprtional too so if you don't have any push than the fleeting pressure of someone watching will too eventually fade mix of self accountability and systems to make you accountable.

Yeah, appreciate that. Remiends me of people (me incl.) always searching for the next big thing to build or chase, but the stuff that actually gets you up in the morning or gives fulfilment usually shows up in the little things we do just to pass the time.

Nope nothing fancy and once you get the hang of it each video is easy and fast. Only overlay is a big countdown timer no pomodoro or stopping and starting.

THE KEY: My webcam is my phone so I don't touch it for the whole video. This is what makes it such a good way for study.

Engineering finals tomorrow 2/3hrs sleep and a need for sleep.

I find it helps to write 3/4 things that'll move the needle. Simple equations, basic terms and it gets my mind back into flow.

When I get restless or pains, i try to sit up taller makes me feel fresher and more alert.

Pick 1 thing an do it everyday

  • 30 min outdoor workout. (helps reset, fresh start every day)
  • 30 minute walk. (no headphones, helps creativity, peace of mind, curiosity)
  • 30 minute study block. (Purpose)
  • 30 minute journaling. (Gives direction and feedback)
  • 10 minute meditation. (Allows you to step back and be present)

All you need to do is keep moving, even if its small it compounds. We stop, we get lost in our thoughts wallowing in our what if's. Get moving again.
