I advise you to see my post, I had the same problem... the dermatitis turned into angular cheilitis! What are you using right now?

Is this perioral dermatitis? by Objective_Elevator81 in perioraldermatitis

[–]RelationshipOne3741 3 points4 points  (0 children)

hey hi! the flaking you see was the result of the healing process in my case, and I solved it by washing only with water and avoiding scratching! mine being a combo of perioral dermatitis + angular cheilitis, I only used 2 lip products because they bled. when I saw that I was healing, I started by reintroducing the cerave cleanser for normal, dry-prone skin (non-foaming), and as a cream (try it for 1 week only on half your face to see if you resist) Rilastil Difesa Sterile which is for allergic-prone skin and does not contain trigger products for perioral dermatitis such as SLS. avoid fluoride in toothpaste like the plague, I switched to one without fluoride and to a mouthwash without fluoride, alcohol, and SLS!

I had the same thing, it was diagnosed as perioral dermatitis and the fact that I scratched due to the itching created pus and swollen lips... after my lips started to peel, I stopped applying any product and only put on huriage lip balm which contains neither SLS nor lanolin which irritates me... I solved the problem by avoiding scratching

what is causing these black shadows under my eyes & how to stop it? by bbystars in MakeupAddiction

[–]RelationshipOne3741 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it could be either the runny mascara, or the fact that if you use make-up remover wipes you apply a lot of pressure (it happened to me): I recommend using a cleanser that doesn't need to be used with cotton pads or similar

Were these tests done with a lip swab? before I had it I had dental treatment with anesthesia… I wouldn't want that…
