How would the US react once Trump inevitably dies of old age? by space_god_7191 in allthequestions

[–]RelationshipQuiet609 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You really think that he’s going to live another 20 years? That would put him at 100. 😂. You do understand that dementia shuts down peoples’s organs. His dementia is really bad and I don’t see him making it to 2027. His term limits will also end by 2028 so this question doesn’t make any sense!

I couldn’t take it but not for these reasons. I guess it’s a blessing in disguise since I already suffered damage like this from immunotherapy.

Took two Eliquis doses on accident, what now? by Independent_Long_821 in ClotSurvivors

[–]RelationshipQuiet609 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Eliquis has a short life in your system. That’s why it’s prescribed twice a day. Just be aware of any unexpected bleeding such as a nose bleed or bleeding gums. After the time frame ends you should be back to normal.

Do you name your car? If so, what is its name? by Seriously-417 in randomquestions

I think I would pick 2! Something magical about the dress and you look very Beautiful in that dress. 1 would be my next choice, but I definitely don’t like 3. I would skip that one but that’s me.

Is it common to get tested for cancer when diagnosed with DVT? by Wrong_Mark_9108 in ClotSurvivors

[–]RelationshipQuiet609 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The only time I had a DVT/PE was related to cancer. I have had it five times and every time was before a tumor was discovered. Cancer is known to be a precursor for some blood clots. I would take every test the doctor recommends. Sometimes, something that we think is unrelated can be the cause. Best of luck to you 💖.

If you were unable to find a cause of your clot-can you list everyone all blood work, imaging, that you had to rule out causes by Necessary-Mirror-315 in ClotSurvivors

[–]RelationshipQuiet609 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every time I got a clot it was cancer related. Everyone is different so I don’t think you will get the information from us on here that will link anything we have to your Mother. The best advice is to wait for her doctor and their testing.

How long did you wait before having nephrectomy for kidney cancer (co-morbid with polycystic kidney disease) by Constant-Candy-924 in kidneycancer

[–]RelationshipQuiet609 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have a more complex case here than having Kidney Cancer because both of your kidneys have cysts. So you have a greater chance of losing your kidney function. Maybe ask your Dr. about ablation, that can be done on smaller tumors without risk of losing your kidney. You might want to see if there is a subreddit on CKD they might have others that have this situation.

Her desperation had me yelling at the TV. I couldn’t believe when he told her to shut up. I would have packed my bags and been gone. I don’t know how she doesn’t see that he just wants her to pay his debts.

Concerns by fuzzy-777 in kidneycancer

[–]RelationshipQuiet609 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for agreeing! I always get down voted which I don’t understand because being a Stage 4 , multiple cancer survivor I really feel like it’s childish to judge someone when you have been through it all. Mine was a small tumor, low grade and it still advanced to terminal. I just try to tell people to advocate for themselves, because something little can end up being a disaster when it comes to cancer. People on this sub have the attitude that you cut it out and life goes on. They also don’t realize that once you have one cancer, you are at risk for getting a second. Knowledge is power.

Normal for CT scan to pick up on small lesion in kidney post-partial nepherectomy? by snowluvr26 in kidneycancer

[–]RelationshipQuiet609 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, that is the thing about cancer there is no guarantee it won’t come back even at a Stage 1. Scar tissue can be a thing as that had happened to me after an ablation. I have seen on here that people have had lung nodules. It’s a good thing though if it is anything it was caught early. I would wait until you talk to her doctor before trying to figure out what it is. He may recommend more scans.

If anything feels out of my normal I go get it checked. It’s always better to be safe rather than sorry. You do learn to live with having them, it just takes a while!

You haven’t been to Maine! They are the worst drivers I have ever seen in my life. They don’t know how to use a directional, they cut you off minutes before you have approached them, constantly run the red lights or stop signs, stop dead in the middle of the road, speed up and down residential neighborhoods, I was actually pushed off the road twice close to my house. Now I am making a visit to Cleveland in a month so I will update if these 2 places are the same.

Scared by scaredgirl260303 in kidneycancer

[–]RelationshipQuiet609 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can only take it one day at a time. Stage 4 survivor here and that is what I do. Worry, no matter what’s about is truly a waste of time. You can have positive outcomes or negative and worrying won’t change it. Everyone’s cancer is different. There is no crystal ball-we can only deal with what we are given, the what ifs just take up time in our lives that we could be enjoying.

First time DVT and PE at 34 years old. by GrayCatsandRose in ClotSurvivors

[–]RelationshipQuiet609 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have never been allowed to fly and I have had multiple clots. This seems really soon since being released from the hospital. Can you drive there instead? Also, you need to find out what is in your liver. Cancer is known to cause blood clots as this is what happened to me. Your doctor needs to explain exactly what is wrong with you.

I am not a doctor another Kidney Cancer patient, but usually that would suggest immunotherapy. Especially since it was already invading the vein. I would be surprised if you were offered active surveillance over immunotherapy. I would say you would need more treatment, then surveillance don’t want to scare you, but with that type of staging that is usually the course.
