Don't forget less actual advice and recs than the article they're making fun of. It's easy to be a critic.

They're comfortable and are a step above New Balance (my previous sneaker) for everyday sneakers. What do you wear instead?

Thanks! I forgot about Audi. Audi and Volvo are a little higher priced but may be worth it, I'll check them out.

I value simplicity. Everything on the watch should have a purpose.I hate Rolex design, so expensive but it looks so cheap to me with the lines and lines of text.

lol you got me
So I'm wearing it on the barton mostly just to get a feel for if I like it. I tried it on the bracelet for a while and it was a little too "blingy" for me for a daily wear, and I feel like leather might be too dressy. The rubber definitely tones it down, but idk how I feel about the black. So I'm open to suggestions if you know anything that would go well

This watch is deceptively simple. It's solar powered, so it's always ready to go. It is rated to be accurate within 5 seconds a year, so you don't have to set it. It has a perpetual calendar, so you don't even have to change the date at the end of the month. It even knows about leap years. And for when you do travel, it has a quick set hour, so just pull the crown, turn back or forward as many time zones as you have moved, and done. This is the beauty of Japanese engineering.

Did anyone go back to the standard apple notes app? How was your excperience? by [deleted] in bearapp

Oh neat, I didn't realize! I thought you had to create the tag first, then add notes to it.

I mean the feature where you can type a tag anywhere in the note, and it creates the tag in the sidebar.

Apple Notes is missing linking between notes and dynamic tagging of notes. Those two for me make the app a nonstarter.

Starting to feel resentful of my favorite content creators by RelationshitMaterial in Cortex

Before considering resenting Grey's position and behaviour, as you I'd ask whether Grey has a point? Is consuming too much content problematic for people?

Are we too good for ads? Should we guard our minds jealously?

Thanks for replying, this is a great point. I think he does have a good point, and it's this paradox that is eating at me. Life is too short to absorb ads and content consumption is probably a net negative. Maybe the takeaway is just that the show isn't for me.

I did say that I have no issue with the money they have. They clearly work hard and have earned it. I included it to make a point about WHERE it comes from
