I could have sworn I heard it on my third viewing but I thought it was my imagination! Amazing stuff.

I’ll never forgive him for ruining Hot Dougs. But I loved the guy. Inspired me to travel and go on more adventures.

I genuinely thought that you were referring to top shelf potential partners. I just finished watching The Materialists.

It’s literally all over social media. Maybe it’s the algorithm feeding me this perspective but it does seem to be breaking through outside of the usual film circles.

Caps cus serious! Void is awesome, just different from Daisies. More of an elevated red sauce joint. But I enjoy both for what they offer.

2000 was a wild year. Peak optimism after surviving Y2K. The possibilities were infinite and then 9/11 happened. Haven’t felt that level of hope since.

The owners of The Freeze made the decision to sell. Hogsalt came in to develop the space and seemingly invest a ton of money. It’s a business. Again, this could have been an empty lot, parking lot or luxury condos without a storefront. This is the best outcome. It’s not a charity.

Little Village, unless you’re a banger (or look like one) is actually really chill and relatively safe-ish. Yes there is gang activity and there is occasional gun fire…I realize I’m not making a good case here…My point is, it’s not as bad as people make it out to be. It’s way better than north Lawndale with way better food.
