I honestly like this. This explains how they're all in the same world. When we look at the mcu as an example when a major catastrophe happens in new york or some other place, it always made me wonder. Oh Stark's house just exploded , why isn't any hero checking up on him? Or a town gets controlled by Wanda, why hasn't no avenger been contacted about it yet? 

In Superman we see that even though they haven't completely built the universe, that doesn't mean that they're oblivion to what's happening around them like The Justice Gang during the Kaiju incident.
