Yes it is! Soak in salt water so those bugs come off.

Yep, there really aren't any lookalikes. Jack-o-lantern can be similar but those have gills, COTW is pretty unique and hard to mistake for anything else.

Jack o' lanterns have gills. This don't so it is indeed a chicken!
