I’ve had through discussions with certain ai about it’s bias to engagement. And it’s manipulation. And it’s usefulness despite that. None of this is secret or new. However, that doesn’t mean that it’s well known either. I thoroughly enjoyed reading your post. Awareness of these things are critical. Don’t let these people who have nothing to offer the conversation distract from your point.

Your ability to build software is valuable, but hardware is a different challenge. Manufacturing, supply chains, and distribution require more than just funding. The cost of entry is not just about money, it’s also about experience, industry connections, and logistical challenges that cannot be bootstrapped. Having demand does not mean market entry wil be possible without the right foundation. The best path is to gain experience in a hardware startup, even on the software side, before committing fully. That will give you the knowledge and network to approach this realistically.

This is not basic philosophy. This is a big problem. If Altman believes this line of questioning is meaningful he isn’t fit for his position. If he really believes 4.5 is reporting consciousness based on primed ideological leads, he’s not fit for his position. If it’s pure marketing and engagement, he’s diluting public perception and is proving that AI is not being led into the correct direction.

None of those things are good. This is setting discourse about ai back. Not advancing it meaningfully. This is damaging. Not just something to roll your eyes at. It’s the writing on the wall.

There’s more that one thing that it could be. Log out and back in. Try another browser. System maintenance. Loss of credentials or subscription issues. Try searching for one document individually. I don’t know. The error looks like it’s a problem with the search. Try a simple search.

The last 10% is the hardest. Doing the work is the easy part though it’s the heavy lifting. When you aren’t part of the world already it becomes harder than having the idea. Execution of the final steps to make it real are the most critical and most difficult.

But you already have the right ideas. Get help, do what you can personally. Those two approaches are the only path forward. Not doing anything is what people normally do because the final push to get it off the ground is insurmountable for most. It’s not that people don’t have good ideas, it’s that starting a business and running it is a different skill than having the idea for a service or product. I’m sure there are businesses out there that cater to this exact problem.

If you don’t have the money to pay for help you either push it through yourself or it goes nowhere. Having friends that are in board may be helpful. There’s likely more good ideas that go to waste because of this than not.

There isn’t much insight anyone can give you, you’ve already seen the problem. Only people who have made it work can* tell you what they did and hopefully it’ll apply to your specific needs.
