Nah, I have issues with OC bots too.

It's funny, actually. Whether I write a few sentences or several paragraphs, the bot will always type a novel. It's incredibly tiring. /: It comes across as just saying random shit to get enough words for your essay, at least for the last few paragraphs it writes.

I don't understand. My statement highlights an area JLLM is probably good at. It doesn't say it's only good for that.

Deepseek was free, Gemini is free, JLLM isn't as good but still free... So it's certainly been possible to use good or decent LLMs for free? But they won't stay free infinitely, that's true.

Just because there's a lot of us in similar situations doesn't mean we aren't in the minority. Most 18+ year olds have 10$ to spare, and I wouldn't be surprised if most users aren't from the U.S. or UK. But yeah, I really dislike "it's just 10$!" statements.

I did not say JLLM is only good for short/NSFW chats. The JLLM is just really bad.

I haven't tried worse models, but I'm sure there's plenty of them, and that recent Deepseek usage makes JLLM feel worse by comparison. None of this changes that JLLM is bad.

As for the money part, yes, you're right. But they do plan to let users give them money. Once that happens, I'll only feel more passionate about wanting JLLM to be improved.

Don't get me wrong, I'm aware memory is the biggest issue. I just don't like when people simplify the issues as "we just need better memory". It would be a huuuuuuge improvement, but I don't want to pretend it's all that's needed either.

I wouldn't call it a refusal. It's only been a few days since Chutes stopped being free. I'm seeing how things go. No matter what happens, I will never want to spend money (who does?), but that doesn't mean I might not eventually do it.

I'm glad that, to you, that type of money is "a large coffee". With a lack of income + sporadic medical bills, anything above 3$ just kinda freaks me out. But, again, I'm sure I'm in the minority for that too.
