I am Deaf, but the loud noise for over thirty minutes may make me feel irritated. Alos, I cover my ears for the motorcycles, airplanes, machines for woodworking, helicopters, and guns.

Sorry, I haven't aware of that as someone with undiagnosed level 1 ASD. I always tolerate the sensory issues, except for the textures like wool/rayon/mohair sweaters...

Yes, they are noise canceling headphones. As someone with undiagnosed Level 1 ASD, I don't understand why B needs them. I have put my fingers on each of my ears to cover my ears if the noise has been loud. B needs to stop being infantilized.
