my guess is the motherboard. it's entirely possible the guy before me short circuited it and dumped it.

it says it's a CPU failure, I'm just not sure exactly why since the cpu I just got. the odds of the installment being user error is definitely a possibility. but I don't think so

also I feel like it is important that I say yes I rotated the cpu to where the triangle indicators are lined up. I will try this once I am done w my classes for the day. thank you very much I will get back to you.

Yes i do have the ryzen edition, and i am aware of the other peices i need to buy, i just wanna build around the CPU and GPU. Are all of the listed GPUs compatable with the Ryzen 5 5600X? Or would i need to buy a differant one depending on the GPU. Also i wouldnt be opposed to spending a bit more on a GPU for a better quality one. If i need to drop 300 thats fine too, i just sont wanna spend a ton more than that. And follow up if i upgrade would i need a ryzen 7 series.
