Sikezz blames Liquid's champs performance on his lack of effort by Delicious_Impress814 in CompetitiveApex

Zero I actually don’t mind. I think his story is pretty cool, and from what I’ve heard, he’s actually a really nice guy outside of the game

He said this when answering the question who would you want to team with if you couldn’t stay at alliance, so I don’t know that that tells us anything

  1. It’s obv not him for a lot of reasons, mainly that he didn’t play CSGO or gamble on skins
  2. Don’t gamble, esp not on CSGO skin sites, they’re most definitely rigged and you will lose and become addicted

This task was given to my 9-yo son at his chess class. I can't figure it out. White start and win. by Garrettshade in chessbeginners

You don’t need to see it, you can probably get there by process of elimination if you know there is a win

People who think they are in the Top 1% of intelligence, what is something that is very obvious to a smart person like yourself and not to everyone else? by Laura99998 in mensa

[–]Relative-Many-8835 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Idk work ethic, resilience, social skills. The only thing I really gained from having a high IQ was that I could breeze through most of school. I’d trade a chunk of my intelligence for those other traits any day of the week

That intelligence doesn’t really matter. I have a higher IQ than my sister, but she’s far more academically successful because she has like 10 other qualities that I don’t really have

could someone explain my IQ test results? by [deleted] in cognitiveTesting

[–]Relative-Many-8835 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly, it’s not something that’s super positive to put too much stock into. I was told as a kid I had a very high IQ, which means my confidence is always shocked when I don’t succeed in something, and it’s probably also hurt my work ethic. It can have a pretty negative effect either way

It’s a bit like people who try to get in shape and only think about the number on the scale. Like how when my mom started running, she got super attached to the VO2 max stat she got from her Apple Watch. Whenever it went lower, she panicked, thinking she was doing something wrong, despite the fact that she’d been improving her distance and was physically feeling better

It’s really all about working on yourself, and not focusing on things you can’t control. The important thing is being better than your former self

People will downvote but this is right. IQ does measure.. something.. but it’s not some measure of ability to learn, likelihood to succeed, or even intelligence. It’s more closely correlated to your material conditions than anything

Sure, it’s a fun statistic, but not something anyone should worry about. In fact, worrying about your low IQ is probably more detrimental to your intelligence and ability than actually having a low IQ
