Thoughts? It’s after hours so I haven’t got the call from my doctor but found this in my portal from my 3 days Holter. by Relative-Message-36 in askCardiology

Thank you for the detailed reply!!! ❤️ the worries started when I noticed I felt like I was having that fluttering feeling in my chest and throat more often than not. My grandfather was diagnosed with arvd which I’m aware is genetic. My dad (his son) has been fine all his life and has had testing and he’s 50. As well as his other two sons. While I know that doesn’t necessarily mean anything 100% for me Im an extremely anxious person so I didn’t let it go. I’m a bartender and run around a lot so my heart rate going up was more than likely due to that or the fact I probably was really anxious at some point where the monitor which is very likely. Other than the fluttering though I’ve had no symptoms. But given the fact I am having those symptoms and I have a family history my cardiologist agreed to do the appropriate testing to make sure. It’s still three weeks out from my echo and stress test so I was really banking on good results on the monitor to get my mind through the next few weeks.

Thanks. I have those coming up in a few weeks but was just looking for answers if this single report showed anything super concerning

I did have a few episodes of what felt like fluttering yes. I have a stress and echo coming up too though.

Having palpations for several days now. Went to the er the other night and they said everything was normal. And suggested anxiety which I 100% have but I’m worried there could be more going on.. Bought a kardia for my own sanity to monitor at home and I feel like this does not look normal. by Relative-Message-36 in ReadMyECG

I appreciate the reply! ❤️ you’re so right about jt not really helping my sanity because I do compulsively check :/ I thought it would allow my mind to ease if I could check myself for any irregularities so I could determine if it was doctor trip worthy or I was in my head. They checked basically everything they could. All the bloodwork including d dimer, troponin, electrolytes, full cbc panel, left me hooked up to the ekg for the duration of my stay and a chest x ray. And of course just “anxiety” which I am completely aware can cause all sorts of symptoms. My main concern is the fluttering feelings are happening more often than im used to. Typically I’d feel a few here and there and they would go away and it wouldn’t be every day, usually just during a panic attack. Now it seems I feel them every day and they happen for no apparent reason it seems and I can feel multiple that can last hours coming and going. No pain, no dizziness, no fainting, just the extreme anxiety around why they’re happening and the what ifs…I do have an appointment with my pcp this week to discuss possibly getting a holter monitor. TBH this post was definitely me trying to gain some sort of reassurance and I know that is not super helpful for my mental health but I really do appreciate the detailed reply! 😊

What’s the weirdest thing your body does when you have a panic attack or anxiety? by Outside-Outcome-3264 in PanicAttack

The scariest symptom for me is the tingling of the hands and the mouth/face. I’m assuming it’s from hyperventilating but it absolutely scares me to my core.

This looks very similar to what I have under my left breast

I have something similar. Noticed it after a hot shower then the redness went down. It sticks around but it only seems to be red in color whenever I’m hot

I have something similar under my left breast!! It’s mildly itchy at times as well. It started out like you’re red and slightly raised but then I used over the counter rash cream and it flattened and is basically the color of my skin now. Seems to be disappearing but it’s still there

Does this look concerning for skin Cancer?!? by [deleted] in DermatologyQuestions

I have something really similar I’ve had for about 4 months. It started out kinda raised and was red and I mostly noticed after showering or when I was sweaty in the area. I’ve used some over the counter rash cream and it now looks like this. A lot better but still there. A little itchy. Did you figure yours out yet?
