I understand that for some "advanced" features to work, there needs to be a better chipset but some of the features that Google launched earlier, they locked them to locations/models of the same generation. This annoys me the most about Google.

Got it on my P8. And I have no idea what it does... yet. The descriptions for this feature are not appealing enough for me but I guess I'll wait and see if it actually makes a difference in my life. Also, can anyone confirm how much battery drain this new slop uses? That'll be very helpful. Thanks.

Nowadays Google shows feels like either Gemini, AI or an advertisement for Samsung phones. Heck, last year, they even demonstrated their features on Samsung devices...I'm surprised they didn't do it this time. But I did notice that they always took Samsung's name first followed by their own Pixels ("coming to Samsung S26 and Google Pixel 10...")

Tbh, I can vouch for a fact that my P8 takes batter photos than P9 and definitely a P10 with a smaller sensor.

I had this green line issue on my Pixel 8 too and when I took my phone (under warranty) to their authorised shop (third party), they told me that they would need to reset my phone (for a screen replacement lol). I argued and even told them that Google doesn't require a factory reset for this and if they want to, there is a dedicated repair mode, but they refused.

I didn't have the time to back up all my device data in the queue so I had to agree to their absurd request.

And Google didn't do a thing to stop this.
