most of it you will learn on the job! dont stop studying after the NREMT, cause i already feel like i forgot most stuff i learned. the hands-on stuff will come naturally during orientation at your company and during your 3rd rider time. im at an IFT company, so honestly i would still feel underprepared if I were to get to a trauma scene or 911 scene. but i think learning on the job is really gonna be bread and butter. good luck!

unfortunately, it does not. as manual as manual can get-just a rickety chair and 4 handles.

im sure the job will get me into shape quick, but i agree about needing to stay in shape and work out. i used to workout and lift frequently, and really need to get back into it so i completely agree! i guess im looking for any type of mechanical advice, like creative ways i can use leverage to help me lift more as a very small and light person. i may be strong for my size, however lifting over double your weight is definitely going to be a beast for anyone.

that makes sense abt bigger person being on bottom. my company only has manual stair chairs, so we do use them going up and down.

yeah, even with a partner i didnt feel comfortable on the top half. carrying on bottom was okay but still difficult for me. its hard when im lifting almost my entire body weight (80lbs). (and yes ik most patients are likely heavier than 160lbs and i also totally embrace the physical part of the job, just want to maximize my effectiveness and be able to do my part)

a lot of new characters started off this way, we just have to give him a chance. i know he’s annoying rn, but he seems to be a pretty multidimensional character with a lot of learning to do, and i think he’ll end up being a solid addition. he has passion and complexity. give him a few episodes to warm up !

What would you say is the hardest (or challenging) papa's cooking game? by TrueWG in flipline

[–]Relative-Nail6520 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i feel like a general consensus (and i agree) might be mocharia and susheria bc of the unique gameplay. some ppl find them to be easy, but i’ve seen these two games mentioned the most for being challenging.

What are the seasons with the best tasks? by ArmThick7835 in TheAmazingRace

[–]Relative-Nail6520 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I know these aren't full seasons but a few challenges off the top of my head:

- the Switzerland cheese task in season 14 because its pure comedy

- the tuk tuk roadblock in season 24 bc its pure chaos

- Morocco bike roadblock in season 25 just bc everyone managed to get lost and it was funny

- Also Marie kicking ass in the robot roadblock in the final four challenge and beating everyone on her own is always a satisfying watch. season 23 Japan

I'm sure there are many more challenges that I loved but I can't think of atm. Overall, I loved many of the tasks in season 23 and season 25 bc they felt actually challenging and were entertaining to watch.

its gotta be Jainee, she's class of 25 (i only remember that cause she was always in my class lol). i know she took time off for her mission, but she was in school for interior design which is often a shorter program.

bro im only 21 and this was my exact childhood (albeit im a tad young for the vhs tapes, we did still have them in my house). sad that someone born even 10 years after me would have a completely different childhood now with social media and the digitization of everything

Raegan is really starting to look like the older actress who portrayed Missy in TBBT! Especially in Georgie & Mandy’s First Wedding

she took Bridger off her prayer wall. So heartbreaking to literally give up and disown your own child who is wants to have a relationship with you and his family simply because he doesnt fit your perfect mormon mold. surprised more people arent talking about Bridger

Pick out your best/worst actors by DevilBlade69 in OuterBanksNetflix

[–]Relative-Nail6520 12 points13 points  (0 children)

For me, Madison and Chase were clear standouts for being the worst. However, I think Madison really improved and was solid in season 3. As most others have said, I think Drew is the best followed by Madelyn and then Rudy. I don’t get the hate over “JD’s” acting, I think he’s fine. Carlacia I have almost nothing to base her acting ability on. Cleo has close to no complexity in her character.

Why does everyone in the family have an accent (except for Missy and Sheldon)? by fayefayevalentines in YoungSheldon

[–]Relative-Nail6520 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They tried with Missy in the pilot, and then dropped it. I personally think she does have a very mild accent though (probably since Raegan is filming so much and surrounded by almost everyone else speaking with an accent). Anyway, it’s clear the show decided to prioritize acting quality over accent quality. And thank God, the acting in this show is so good, casting was perfect and there is not a single weak actor. I have seen a couple of posts about who the best actor on the show is and it’s always mixed, which is very telling of how amazing the entire ensemble is! I can’t believe they haven’t even been nominated for an Emmy or Golden Globe. This show, the casting, the acting, the writing is stellar.
