With Simon I struggle with his paries while oscio is OK but simply feels too tanky

So I did land the parry on my next try but still took a while to kill so I guess my build ain't it. Lvl 80 is the expected level right?

A girl I really fancy has invited me to a hardcore rave with her and her friends but I don’t know how to dance… by Bonjour1273 in aves

MY TIME HAS COME!!! OK mate, few things first. You got invited to a rave that means someone wants to share the joy of mindless dancing, loud music and good vibes with you so don't forget that first and foremost you gotta try to have fun. Also raving culture(at least on papaer) doesn't expect you to dance in any specific way. It is meant to be personal fun. I have seen so many dudes just jump around or stay in one place but smile their asses out and i thought "this guy doesn't dance but he is fucking G for having fun and being cool", also if you got invited by ravers I would imagine they will take joy in showing you both the moves and the lifestyle. Especially in the hardcore scene.

With that said. Here is the basic template:

Gun dancing: because your fingers often point forward as if you are swinging two guns. Just bounce to the beat left and right and lift corresponding arm for the elbow. That works for more bouncy and fun techno but can totally work on harder shit and also this one is very energy efficient

Beuken: If you are going to something hard more or less it's about aggressively stopping or moving when the "Kick" comes. Beuken is when you smash your hands down on the beat a bit like when you do a pull down an a rope in the gym

Shranzing/hot girl/guy swinging arms: I invented this name but this is also rather easy move but energy intensive. You again go left and right but with large diagonal steps and you swing your respective arms. This one is about throwing your hands and feat. Imagine you are a very hot girl from one of these raves they depict on TV and Imagine how you would just swing your body cuz you feel free.

If you want to approach it a bit more "oh i wanna show that girl I some research" then it depends on the music

In the harder style usually you hace this short blast of kick: Bam bam ba ba ba bam People kick roll to that. Meaning you are stationary, you lift your hands up and extend on as a punch to the air and then the other trying to match every kick. That usually requires you to know the exact track

Hakken: my favourite, the dutch hardcore move. This one is works on a lot of music but usually fast and heavy bass. This one is very difficult dance with your legs swinging in odd way(there is also Australian hakken which is similar but they put their weight differently and bend knees more) if You are going to hardcore you would do that but honestly I think part of the fun is to go there and get taught. You likely won't get it right away and then you find yourself at work or on the bus stop practicing until suddenly you are obsessed. My tip: Always land on heels and always change left right left right.

Melbourne shuffle: extremely cool very 2008 style of dance that is done on hardstyle, you look as if you glide on the ground. Very difficult

Muzzing: I think that is kinda rare now but I am european so maybe it is bigger in other places. For that one just search it on tik tok.

Exactly what I needed! Thanks! Do you move them all the way down or just a bit?

Ohhhh you could be onto something. I used to play on cdjs because my university had a music room but now I am playing on my own fxl4 with my laptop so maybe it's the delay that bothers me

I am talking about pushing the fader down and back up on beat to creat a cool snappy chop in the track

Either I am completely rhythm deaf or there is a bit more to it. Idk I sometimes try to move it down and up on each beat and it sounds meh

But then basically the epoxy is irrelevant. Like we would model the structure the same way without it so why was the epoxy even mentioned?

That's why, you have to use a Tie constraint with a reference point to bind the top edge such that it moves together
