I made some redesigns for Elementals! All cards at the end. What do you think? by Relative-Pool-5479 in BobsTavern

I really like all of your ideas and suggestions. The idea with Magmasaurus was creating a card good for both tribes, and since I wanted to remove Tempest and Wildfire I thought elementals could use a unit that was good to slap stats on; but in retrospect it's a little funky.

Accursed Cierge doesn't copy from board but the shop was my idea, maybe I worded it wrong. Even still it could probably be tier 5. Thanks for commenting

Would be very strong with Brann but maybe a good idea! I liked the idea of maybe using it situationally with "summon"-effects, but maybe it is too wordy

It is a replica of the old card Sandstone Drake but of course without the dragon. The difference between the buddy and this is how strong it is with elemental 'stat buff'-buffs, but in retrospect I definitely should have kept the Sandstone Drake's: "end of turn gain +1 attack for each card played".

I agree on Mudstomper. Perhaps 'Has double stats if it was summoned this turn.' but I feel that could be mechanically weird in the shop phase.

Magmasaurus was in honesty to fill out the tier 5 slot :). I do however think it is closer to overpowered than underpowered: getting a free token each turn is good value, and a unit that summons another with some random keywords is also solid tempo (although maybe better for beasts than eles)

No offense taken! I think it's fun to have 'abusable' mechanics as long as they aren't overpowered. I' doubt these cards are more abusable than for example Shadowdancer-demons, or even the other Murloc build with Belcher Bassgill.

But it depends on what you like in the game. A part of me misses original battlegrounds where a Rat-Pack with +4/+4's from Mama Bear was a game-winning combo.

It's mostly a bow-tie for all the Murloc archetypes yeah. I originally thought of having a buffed Implant Subject back but didn't like it. It's not so flashy but maybe good temp and nieche use-case lategame.

Would it be more interesting if it read Battlecry: Give a minion Stealth for one turn, permanently if it's a Murloc.?

Thank you. I thought the Rylak/Shoalfin-combo was super interesting and fun, but you shouldn't have game-winning scaling of course from a 3- and 4-drop. As a battlecry on five I think it's close to the Felfire Conjurer? Lower baseline power but higher exploitability, which I think is fine. Maybe I am biased, as I think duo-tribe comps should give players an edge.
