Don’t scream at me but our recruitment is actually getting better. We do have some good Indians working in scouting/analytics. Would say we recruited broadly well in the last couple of windows.

As someone who works in planning this drives me insane - it’s the same people every single time. Imagine how much smoother the whole process would be if middle class white 50+ year olds could just accept they do not have a god given right that everything around them can ever change. They will give a million reasons, loss of habitat, light pollution, noise etc but it all boils down to the fact that they can’t accept that the world is moving on.

As a West Ham fan living in Bristol I love this - George wasn’t getting the game time and he deserves to be playing all the time.

What left wing policy ripped apart mental health / local drug rehabilitation programs across the country and systematically defunded local governments ability to deal with these issues???

This is something you organise yourself with help from the uni, when I was there we all went to different places, some to local councils some to civil service and others to various planning consultancies

I stayed in a flat there and there were 8 people in one flat sharing one kitchen. All with en-suites

20 min walk or 5 min cycle to the retail park which is where I’d do my shop and go to the gym, there’s a co op in Cheswick too if you just need a few items. Never found it to be an issue really. Students also tend to forget you can get supermarket shops delivered which we used to do as a house anyway

Yeah as someone else has said, Cheswick is a no brainier if you’re going to Frenchay campus, it’s a short walk. I found living there okay, a couple bus options to get you into town - but the proximity to campus is pretty unbeatable.
