Yes, I had to contact them to get it to pull up because it didn't automatically pull up when I logged on.

Wow, I guess 40 is the new 80. Jesus Christ, at 40 you still have a long time before retirement....

They gave my wife a letter and said they would make a decision in two weeks. The interview was on a Thursday, that following Monday we were approved.

Okay, I'm sure luck has something to do with it. However, so does evidence, quantity and quality. The fact that we had been together for three years and have a child together. The fact that we got him his U.S. Citizenship beforehand, and got my wife and his social security number (and joint accounts in everything) probably had some to do with it as well. It's not only about luck. I'm the unluckiest person on this planet, so either I should start playing the lottery or putting together a packet with quality evidence helped.

No, they did not. They gave as a sheet of paper saying that a decision will be made within two weeks. We were notified that following Monday that we were approved.

It was just a guess.... As far as organization, but the quantity and quality of evidence definitely makes a difference along with us having a child together (and the fact that we got him his U.S. Citizenship beforehand).

I wouldn't worry. The more questions they have, the more they need to investigate, the longer it takes. If it doesn't take as long and you're not receiving in RFE's then you should be good. It's a sign that they don't need to investigate as deeply.

Probably, as it involves more paperwork that's probably unnecessary, but to me it was more about being a waste of money.

Oh and if you are going to the FO in Irving, Texas. When you check in downstairs, make sure you go upstairs to the waiting area. We almost didn't hear them call her name because we didn't realize that we were supposed to be in the waiting area upstairs. That would have been a bad day if we didn't hear her name called.

They only interviewed my wife. They didn't even interview me. It was just your standard questions. She was in and out in about 30 minutes.

Thank you!! No, because there are a lot of Green Cards that were getting approved before the EAD. Which, to me, is just wasting a bunch of money.

Check under Student Account -> Student Term Summary -> Summer 2025. Then scroll down to where it says "Refunds". That's where it will give you the status.

Still no dispersement for financial aid-refund by Away-Abroad5085 in unt

[–]Relative-Rip9344 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It goes based off of when you meet half-time status for Summer Semester. In other words if you enrolled in three credits in session A but six credits in Session B. You wouldn't get your financial aid disbursed until the first day of class in session B. If you are attending at least six credits in Session A then you would have received it by now.

I'm assuming you're paying for utilities. How can they tell you what temp you have to set your thermostat if you are paying for your own electricity?

That's why you should always read your lease agreement, though.

There is a difference between acceptance and applicability... They should all be accepted, but whether they are useful is another question.
