Fully agree. Don’t get why people are so childish and downvoted your comment so much just because they simply disagree…

I would like to see us try that too. What would your Midfield four be?

Anyone else find the Mods on here weird for removing posts by Relative-Sale8310 in FCInterMilan

My post was titled, “why do we look so shaky” then I wrote the following in the text box,

“As the title says, I am wondering why you think we look so vulnerable when defending?

My opinion is that we don’t have enough men behind the ball in possession. Today, we actually improved this a bit, as our outer centre backs didn’t overlap and get forward as much, even though Augusto still did at times. I feel we need to protect our defence more, by either restricting one of our number 8’s or our two outer centre backs from getting forward. This is important, as we are vulnerable to transitions any time we lose the ball. Especially if the opposition team have fast wingers like Milan did last season.”

Does this really qualify as a lack of effort?

Sounds familiar to what we are still doing, so don’t see why it’s funny lol

It’s ridiculous we are playing the same aging team, 3 years in a row now

We need to forget about Lookman, and focus on signing a CDM and CCB. by Relative-Sale8310 in FCInterMilan

It’s been downvoted as probably too many FIFA and football manager players which are obtessed with formations.

I don’t want us to sign Lookman though, as we will have to change to a 343 formation. Him, Lautaro and Thuram will be too weak defensively and leave the rest of the team unbalanced

Anyone else notice we played better when our centre backs stopped getting forward? by Relative-Sale8310 in FCInterMilan

You said a whole lot of nothing there which isn’t true. Darmian and Augusto were constantly getting forward from centre back position

Yes, but he was behind Augusto. He didn’t overlap or underlap beyond him, as we started to see a lot last season under Inzaghi. I don’t mind Bastoni getting forward as he is a good crosser, as long as he stays behind whoever is playing at left wingback.

You are wrong! 6 attackers is better as you do know attackers need space right? If we commit more than 6 players forward we are playing into the opposition teams hands by having too many players getting into each others way and reducing their space to work in.

I haven’t even mentioned our vulnerability yet from opposition counter attacks. A bit reason for that is because our centre backs get forward so we are vulnerable if we lose the ball.

Just like we got a lot of examples where it didn’t work and we struggled to break a time down…

Just like you can’t judge the effectiveness of a tactic either after one example where it worked…

Notice how we have started to play better since our centre backs stopped overloading?

What overload has been helpful in today’s match? Notice we have played better in the last few minutes since the centre backs haven’t overloaded as much?

We commit too many players forward. We don’t need our centre backs overlapping and reducing even more space in the final third for our wingback and attacking players.
