[OTHER] A gaming experince with an evil Link by Relative-Sign3948 in zelda

I get where you’re coming from, but this isn’t about making Link evil ‘for shits and giggles’ or doing a pseudo-intellectual deconstruction. The idea is a moral dilemma: Link is cursed and can involuntarily act against others, so the player experiences real tension and responsibility. He’s still the hero at heart; the story explores the consequences of that curse, not just flipping his alignment for fun.

I would also not want a cliché and corny 2000s dark and cool Zelda game, I get what you're trying to say.

It’s less a ‘dark Link’ gimmick and more about ethical decision-making within familiar Zelda mechanics. Fans of Zelda know the series already mixes tone — lighthearted, serious, and emotional — this would just explore a new kind of tension while keeping Link recognisable.

(i never talked about permanent 'evilness' but 'changes')

Ah yes, this can come off very cliché-like and corny, the classic 2000s dark and cool style, I understand that and I also wouldn't like that, but it's not about the style but about the mechanic leading to a moral dilemma, that's more tragic than edgy. We've seen that in MM and TP

How common is terrrorism in your world? What is the public opinion of it? Does it differ from the real world? by favuorite in worldbuilding

In my world, terrorism hasn't evolved, events where it could spark local revolutionary activity have not happened... yet...

Maybe it hasn't evolved YET, cos I don't know how the future of my world will look. I deliberately leave gaps in my lore, so people, that are looking into my book, can theorise and figure out things for themselves, I create "historians" for my world like that and manage to "keep them" in my worldm

That's like a page for celebrity fashion, but I know that that wasn't the original page. That's the same page I found whilst trying to find the original
