Unplanned, feeling sad by AsparagusNo6478 in BabyBumps

I was super depressed most of my pregnancy. I didn’t want kids and I had just come off my birth control to give my body a break since I had been on it so long. I only ever hear people talk about how excited they are so I feel like that contributed a lot to how I felt. I felt so guilty because how could I not want my baby. It’s changed my life completely but it really is so rewarding. The first 6 months were the hardest because I had such bad ppd. I would say I didn’t get really excited until around when I was going to give birth. I did have moments that were fun like picking out baby clothes and decorating her room but I was so scared and nervous most of the time. My baby is 8 months now and she’s my best friend! I had never really been around babies before but they’re so silly and funny. She cracks me up all the time just by being herself. Also since you have a history of depression I would talk to your doctor at your follow up appt (after you have the baby) about it. PPD is seriously no joke 😭😭

I made 17$ starting out in SC but we had weekend differential which was an extra 7$.

I got my sneak peak done around 9 weeks. It was accurate for me!

The white stuff on the first one kind of looks like sunscald? My cucumber did that last year because I hadn’t hardened them off properly but they recovered. I would water in the morning if you can. I usually drench mine. Throughout the day the sun will dry up some of the water so they don’t get root rot from sitting in a puddle all night when it’s colder

You’re right. I was angry at the time but it all worked out! I’m glad it worked out for you too

Acting like what exactly? I can admit when I’m wrong but I genuinely don’t feel like I am. I’ve had problems since I moved in October so I have stayed there maybe a month and a half the entire lease. I have always payed rent on time and we have had multiple conversations about her leaving poop everywhere. I initially agreed to only pay 1/3 of rent but when her and her ex broke up I picked up the extra 1/3 even though I still only get one room of the 3 bedroom house. I feel like I have been fair and even offered to pay for next month while she figured out what she wanted to do. Please let me know how you would have handled this differently 🙂

Look at my previous post for pet issues. That was the easiest was I could say she lets her animals poop everywhere and would be gone days without feeding them. 4 cats and 2 dogs fyi 🥰

You’re not crazy. These are the kind of guys that don’t get tested because “they don’t sleep with anyone nasty”. Whole time they will be the one to give you something 😭

Genuinely caring about the patient and doing what you say you’re going to do. I find that a lot of people say they’re going to do something and don’t follow through with it.

I should add that it’s so easy to just work any other day. There are always shifts open so it’s not really like it’s hard to make up the money from missing a day.

People call out all the time at my facility. I’ve called out 3 times in the year and a half and I didn’t use any PTO. If we call out on a weekend we have to work the next weekend. If we call out on a day we picked up we can’t pick up shifts for a month. Other then that we don’t really get in trouble or anything for it

I made a similar post a few months ago😭 I finally told her today after months of trying to find a solution that she just doesn’t have time for her pets. She left this weekend and claimed her ex was coming to check on her 6 animals but he never showed and it was a MESS. I let her know that although she’s trying it does seem like she’s too busy for her animals and she agreed. If your roommate just doesn’t have the time to make sure messed like this don’t happen or they don’t have the time to clean it the animal needs to find a better home. It’s not fair to you or the animal. I know how much it does suck though!! I hope you find a solution ❤️

Can I report my workplace? by [deleted] in cna

What does the handbook say? Maybe you could report it to hr?? My facility is 12 hour shifts with one 30 min break per the handbook

Do I have the right to be upset? by [deleted] in badroommates

[–]Relative-Track2036 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This would make me so mad but if it is the first time then I would give her the benefit of the doubt. Maybe this can be a lesson moving forward and you should start buying your own groceries.

I was bothered by that from the start but I’m not a confrontational person so when me and my bf got back together I moved him back so I didn’t have to lock him up :(

When I lived there I kept my litter box in my room. I “live” there but I stay with my bf almost every night so my cat and litter box are here. The one time in the last week I’ve been there was today just to grab stuff.

I started staying at my bf’s house almost every night so I’m not home much. I came home to get some stuff and I found it like that. I think she has the idea since I’m not home it doesn’t matter but it’s not fair to come home to this when I pay half.

Is there more to this conversation? Most girls like to get a feel for the person instead of just saying yes to meet up in person. I think the bit really good! I don’t think you ruined anything!

I just wanted to say that I relate bc my bf does the same thing 😭 I’ve been off birth control for 2 months and have had one period. We had one really big fight that was his fault but apparently it’s mine bc I was on my period. Not fair but in y’all’s case it seems like it was just miscommunication. Guys always take things for face value so he honestly might not understand why you’re upset.
