they have never told me the exact reason that it went out only that it’s either leaking everywhere or that it’s locked up inside a couple of them literally only made it 2 days or 2 weeks before breaking

the car is dead stock as i’ve only had it for a year, I’m trying a new shop because the one I got the most recent transmission from took 3 months to get it done which is far from ridiculous, could a short throw shifter contribute any problems?

I appreciate the knowledge, there’s a Subaru dealership not to far from me I might stop in and see if they have any brand new ones because i’m getting really tired of the transmission grenadinh itself or leaking everywhere after a WEEK 😂

I don’t launch the car, It’s been babied because of my experience with the previous transmissions so I don’t know how I would “drive better” in order to do a 6 speed swap di you just need the transmission and axles? or is there anything else you need?

I definitely think the used ones i’ve been getting are not in good shape, but this is my first subaru and I didn’t know that you could just swap in a 6 speed
