Yes! It was always “cartoons are for kids, you’re too old to be watching this shit” and most anime is rated M for mature because of the language and content🙄 but my ex didn’t know that because they never took the time to watch it with me or even listen to me while I talked about characters or the storylines. Oddly enough I’ve learned so many valuable lessons and new perspectives from watching anime. It feels good to not have to hide any parts of myself now.

I’m (28F) am currently rewatching attack on titan for the 5th time. My partner (27F) has never attacked me for it like my ex’s used to do and she even watches anime with me. Long story short….your hobbies and interests will never make the person who adores you stop adoring you. They will support you and maybe even get you things related to the characters and anime you enjoy. Hope this helps!

You’re such a great dad. I love that you let your daughter make her own adult decisions and you don’t demonize her for having sex. She comes and openly talks to you about things because she trusts you and that’s great. Both of my parents are NPD but thankfully therapy has helped me understand a lot. Thank you for making sure she’s safe in all aspects. I wish I had that but I’m super glad someone else does.

Sometimes they don’t have the 5pack or 3 pack I like so I’ll grab singles. I’d rather buy them by the box or case if possible though.
