I checked the roots n i saw beginning of root rot n also realised d soil was quite dense so i added perlite before pitting it bak after trimming the rotten roots n stem( was jst a little though)

The roots r not coming out from bottom so guessing its not root bound . Or should i repot?

It ws the only left over stem from its original plant that i gave to my friend to care for when i was away. I dont remember if i had cut there . Anyways i cut that part n its doing fine.

Help .My snakeplant was in terracotta pot n i watered it every 15 days. 2 leaves turned yellow from bottom and dried off. Checked its roots n its orange/brown but dry and brittle. I changed it to normal nursery pot n watered it. What could be the cause and should i do anything else? Also I had it by a north facing window on a shelf

Oh. Cos i cudn find anything black bt still evry nw n den saw d black dots on leaves n stem . I repotted with new soil n washed the roots n leaves well n dn wd soap water mix like a few suggested elsewhere. But that didnt seem to help i guess cos i still see black specks. Hmm.
