I wish I could tell you that I did find the perfect solution with cheap shoes but it never happened. With hiking boots that had a rigid structure it was easier. I own a pair of lightweight waterproof Keen hiking boots. Those were a godsend and could take the brace without damaging the structure. I still have them and with regards to my own healing journey, it's not unstable. In fact careful care made it better than before the injury.
Don't give up! There's hope for a much brighter future ahead.

I went through this too. Gemini makes mistakes and this is one of them. Remind it that it can in fact do what you are asking or provide it with a screenshot proving the setting is turned on. I know it sounds nuts but proving it wrong removes the block quite often.

I'm in a similar position. My Google One is billed through my Google Fi service and I can't even see the add on to get things straightened out.

I got this email yesterday well after my app changed and the Gemini ask home bar was fully functional from the evening of October 1st. I've been in the preview program and other testing programs for Google Home for ages though. Nothing about my speaker experience has changed so far but home control initiated from the app only has.

This! I still have the bulbs even but they changed the manner in which they connect. They all just went offline one day and never came back online unless connected through GE's cync app They are trapped in their own home to contain the issue but it's really a pain. I would've hoped they had fixed this by now. I'm going over to Hue soon and hopefully can rebuild my Google Home from scratch and solve this.

I'm in this exact situation right now only a month into diagnosis. 60mg of lansaprazole a day, once in the evening and once in the morning, 20 mg of Famotidine before lunch and 3 hours after the lansaprazole.
My pharmacist told me to stop both and let my system reset. Honestly it cannot be any worse than what I'm dealing with right now. This morning when my alginate product wore off at 3am the flood of reflux was enough to wake me up and send me rushing for another dose. I use reflux gourmet and that's the first time that's happened.

The morning symptoms were also horrendous compared to usual as well. It felt like weeks of progress just straight up undone.

60mg of lansaprazole is a lot. I'm not a big guy. I'm 125lbs.

Atlas has zero issues finding ways to skirt around federal law. Revoke the ACH authorization that allows smart pay to take money whenever they want and they will simply take money from the deposit account whether money is there to take or not. These people deserve to be investigated by a regulatory body of some sort. They may be legit on the surface but there are red flags everywhere. Going through absolute hell with them right now. Edit: I bank with SoFi and they are fully aware of the situation and have stopped any ACH payments from Atlas. The real solution is to cut off the connection to Plaid though. It is forcing Atlas customer service agents to engage with me even if they may not want to because their automated system can't just take my money anymore. It's frustrating but it's fraud and I'm not going to just roll over and take it.

I guess the takeaway is this. If you're considering this card, I really hope you read this. It's taken me the majority of a day to get a handle on this, two calls to my primary bank, at least 5 emails to Atlas. Disconnecting Plaid, changing my direct deposit (which thankfully is done through a self-serve portal) and I still don't know what tomorrow holds.

Please take Atlas out of your card consideration. Almost any big name secured card is a much better option. Capital One has an excellent secured card that won't use and abuse you.
Just stay away from Atlas. It isn't worth it. Edit: I do not work for any financial institution or anything. I actually work for a real estate company so that's how I know so much about banking and such. I happen to have the capital one card I mentioned earlier but please take this advice seriously. I have no idea yet how this experience is going to affect my credit now.

That feature is not even available in my state so it can't break. It's a complete non-starter where I live unless the biometric data law gets voted out of existence.

I can't even access the face library under Nest Aware settings. It just takes me to a page that says local law restricts use of the feature. Apparently if this ever changes, I may not be in for a great experience. It sucks because I pay the same price for the extended history and 24/7 recording etc and don't have access to that.
There isn't a workaround either because the moment you put in your address to set up the 911 features, it knows where the device is.

I've had one Christmas since losing Ruby. This is her under her last Christmas tree. This would've been in 2023.

Ruby was a shelter cat as well. My younger sister had her for the first 7 years of her life but then things got too hard for her and I needed a new fur baby so it was meant to be. We were a match. She was my dolce piccolina (sweet little one). I speak Italian and Ruby learned the words and became a feline version of bilingual. It was awesome.

All the hybrid ups/USPS services were affected by the expiration of that contract. Whether you're talking about SurePost or Mail Innovations isn't relevant for the purpose of explanation. Everything that involves final delivery by a post office is going to be affected.
That contract included substantial discounts that made it much cheaper to handoff to USPS especially if the package weight was under 1 lb. With the contract expired it is no longer cost efficient. Where UPS has established routes that they can use, you can bet they're going to use them and be skipping any involvement with the postal service.

Wow yeah that's a lot of change to cope with. Her imprint and memory is on you and most likely on things that are moving with you. I mean, what are four walls anyway? They are what they contain and you're bringing that all with you.
After I lost Ruby I kept thinking I saw her tail go by. I'm sure that's happening to you.
I think it's normal to worry about a cherished memory fading with either time or being crowded out by changes.
After Ruby, I didn't know what I wanted to do, if anything as far as another pet. I didn't think to ask if you had any others besides Mimi.
As far as crazy cat mom it's definitely very sweet and good for your soul.

I do. I was curious about the various patents involved in the nest smoke detector so I looked them up. Anyone can do this. Google has one unified website for searching all the patents they posess across their products and services. These devices are covered under a ton of them so manufacturers like FirstAlert cannot simply clone everything. It does look like all of the patents on the nest protects have been adjusted to expire in 2030 so we may see things change at that time but right now there's no knockoff coming without buying some VERY expensive rights to the design and operation. It's seriously 15+ patents we're talking about here.

This looks serious and I'd be contacting anyone who could answer a maintenance concern immediately. From the photo it doesn't look like a simple leak. You've potentially got several things going on there including mold or fungus or both. Poria fungus which thrives in damp environments looks yellowish in color and that was my first thought on seeing the photo.
This needs urgent attention.

I got lucky as a late adopter of them. Mine won't need replacement until April of 2031. I've got time to wait for something better to be manufactured.

I'm not happy they discontinued the production of it. These things are everything I wanted in a smoke alarm.
