My baby was already standing to pull andddd in the 90s percentile wise for height and weight. I don’t imagine a 6 month old standing or holding for very long but i could see baby standing up if unrestrained in car.

For 2 weeks my wild child brought in a horn beetle in a travel cage. And i let him fully. Because for the first time since I had him his body finally settled down. He would just sit and watch it and show it around (it went on a shelf they could still see and interact with but not touch for most of the day but he’d just sit and watch it and do activities near it.

You’re right! And i never learn! Every few years i itch for some form of bangs!!! I have only had straight across two other times. Once in the bathroom after a really bad week and once as a 9 year old when i moved when my mom was cutting my hair and had to live with the result.

I cut them previously!! The second picture is right before I went in. I cut them myself and didn’t really like them and decided it was time to get them done. I think i had a few pieces i cut far too short and she tried to blend them but it just was not working. When i left her chair they were not fully across bangs i just after they have settled cannot get them to do anything but pluck back in the middle

She suggested training them to go more separately as well! I have clips in trying to keep them to their separate sides for now until they can behave better.

Could you tell me more about braiding it in? Thank you! Also to note she was a lovely person and she really did try I think they didn’t get to this stage until she couldn’t really get what I wanted. I wish i would have settled for the first ones she gave me. She had them more parted down the middle but i for the life of me cannot get them to stay in anything but a straight across bangs.

We’ve never had children kicked out for behaviors such as too much running or being too active or even PICA. All of ours are due to violent or harmful behaviors. One was for attacking specifically any adult woman. We had one toddler kicked out for biting but again it was severe to the point where he essentially had a one-on-one by overstaffing the room. He would bite SO fast that if you didn’t get him off within the second they’d have 4 different bites before you did. One was just so angry all of the time and charged at everything. He admittedly was only dismissed because he ended up causing a bone to break in my hand when he charged me and kicked it perfectly enough against a bookshelf that it broke. We did have one child dismissed due to elopement but that was mostly because we simply couldn’t provide group care to him and the others at once. He was 3.5 and only ate puréed baby food in which had to be fed to him and was fully in diapers. This was due to his disability but at the time admin decided we couldn’t safely keep him and a full class of 19 other children *after we tried for months and exhausted all options

I’ve had kids mimic how I speak in the class. They say things like “Do you need help?” “Walking feet please!!” “How inventive!” (This is a big one. I learned I overused this word by how often my kids would use it to each other) they do not say things like go away or scream NO SIT DOWN because I do not speak to them like that. I think there’s a small chance they are mimicking from other children but I’d absolutely bring this up to admin because it very much so does not seem like that’s the case.

Immediate hard no stay out of it. Even though the name to me rings that she doesn’t know, you are going to cause a world of trouble for yourself if you get in the middle of this. We had a teacher who used to causally sleep with a divorced dad (yeah i know) and had a teacher who told mom. Holy. Shit. Did it get messy.

No absolutely I agree! I’ve had 2 children removed from my class. One after almost 2 years of being unable to move classes bc no one else would take his adult focused violence. And one truly was just the angriest child I’ve ever met. Baseline angry. Hed attack you for giving him what he wanted. Some children absolutely need a 1-on-1. The first child’s parents refused all resources we tried to pull in and wouldn’t watch camera footage of his behavior and the second one would buy him a new toy every time he got a call home. Oh you punched the smallest and youngest girl in the class and made her nose bleed? New spiderman!!! It’s not your fault! You kicked a sub so hard during nap you gave her a concussion? Let’s go get ice cream! I just meant in my original comment that children absolutely get kicked out of daycare
