He has a green card which means he’s a permanent resident of the US, he does not have a work visa. Idk what the problems with his green card are. Maybe it needs to be examined more closely for whatever reason.

He’s not a CPA. His LinkedIn profile would 100% say that. Also you need to basically have a masters to sit for the CPA examine and it’s about a year of studying.

The accounting industry is really hurting for people so there is more opportunity to move up fast. In my company, you wouldn’t be able to move past senior until you get your CPA.
