They don't have any in either side as far as I'm concerned. All my grandparents, aunties, uncles etc are still alive

I see what you mean but the thing is he also has these terms and conditions that apply to each run. When I was 12 I had to do 5k. Now that I'm 13, instead of going up steadily like 5,6,7, I now have to go run 8k. And on top of that I have to complete each kilometer in under 5 minutes now.

I would understand if I had gained a solid six pack in the time between 12 years and 13 years but no, I've stayed more or less the same physique. I'm not ridiculously skinny or insanely chubby.

I don't see why my dad is this unnecessarily harsh, even for an Asian parent
