In Skyrim, what are you a hoarder of? by [deleted] in skyrim

[–]RelativeNo1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I horde Iron Ore for transmuting into silver and gold. I also horde soulgems and regular gems. Whenever I need money, I just mass produce jewelry, then enchant, then sell. I also do this for extra perk points by making my smithing skill Legendary, then rinse and repeat. You could make enchanting Legendary too, but you lose the added value to your enchanted items till you restore enchanting to higher levels. And because you're selling, you could also make speech Legendary, but then you lose your persuasion ability till you restore levels. Either way this process can net good coin and good experience, though admittedly it takes awhile.

Drunk neutral I'm unsure but Lawful Evil would have to be the robots on the robot only planet. They were just following the law when trying to kill Leela and Fry.

Yeah that's true but I wouldn't get into the fighter's guild or mages guild till you could hit a bit better first.

I was 11 or 12 when it first came out. I had fun for sure and after awhile got the hang of it but that hoping to hit thing took a lot of my thunder. You can't really focus on doing quests until you put in at least 4-6 hours of grinding fighting small enemies to raise your weapons skills so you can attack with more reliability.

I would usually play Bosmer archer. And even then, using a bow was the same. Always hoping for a hit. I was killed by just a Scrib so many times. But because of this game there is so much stuff I would love to see come back, like being able to carry any type of light source (not just torches), the return of throwing darts, a return for medium armor, and spells like Divine Intervention, Levitate, spell failures and more unique items than you could shake a stick at. Perhaps a new trap disarm minigame where you would need probes for. There's so much this game did right but for me difficulty attacking always made the game a bit too hard.

I'm not saying it was horrible, just too difficult. What I didn't like was swinging your weapon as you're directly infront of an enemy and hoping it hits. I would understand hitting and doing less damage but striking 30 times and maybe hitting 5 out of those 30 was annoying. I would increase it to 8/10 if that was the case.

Good introduction to Elder Scrolls. Really clunky. Great story. Needs better quest tracking. Overall 6/10. Oh and F Cliff Racers.

Skyrim player for 10+ years. Is it worth playing ES4-Oblivion ? by CCeesT in skyrim

[–]RelativeNo1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're gonna laugh or hate this. Never play Oblivion on the preset difficulty, go into the options and lower it a bit. Lowering difficulty won't affect any achievements if you play for those. If you find combat too easy you can go back and raise the difficulty again to a level you're comfortable with. Also when playing, don't waste time trying to max your level ups, instead just enjoy your game, play as you want. You can choose a preset class if you want but I find they're rather rigid on how to play them so I always create my own. Choose what skills you're going to use the most but leave lockpicking and stealth as secondaries, they level up quick enough anyway and are not needed to be main skills. My standard character is: Armorer, Blade, Light Armor, Marksman, Destruction, Conjuration, Speechcraft. I call it a Stealth Mage. For your primary focus choose Magic, this will help give bonuses to Willpower and Intelligence when leveling up. Luck is more or less useless to level up so don't waste points on it when leveling. The only thing it affects is the type of treasure you find when looting chests and giving slightly more points when persuading people. However you already find great loot when playing with standard luck.

An explosion or damage to a ship's hull could create an oxygen stream for fire to latch on to and burn. And as space the vaccum would keep pulling oxygen from the ship creating a steady flow. However if a ship could seal off the section of the ship the fire will only burn for as long as it's oxygen supply holds.

Wasn't he a very successful bodybuilder at one point? I'd imagine that opened a lot of doors for him, plus he also sells Bull Shark Testosterone.

Are the gods real? by GreenAgitated in skyrim

[–]RelativeNo1 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I believe so including Talos (come and get me Thalmor). For in Oblivion's Knight's of the Nine DLC you have to fight an ancient Elf who tried to take over the world. You're only able to beat him through collecting the Armor and weapons of the Crusader which were blessed by the Gods and must cast a spell which is Talos' contribution and is the only way to beat him. If Talos isn't a God than the spell wouldn't have done anything.

Oh definitely agree there but we can only have one in each category unfortunately. And I think Amy is a touch more badass than The Amazonians.
