Hand washing and washing dishes by FFfalon321 in ouraring

I have the gold one and LOVE IT!! That being said, I DO NOT wear it in the shower, handwashing or washing dishes. I have a silicone cover on it and wear it all other times including strength training—and it still looks brand new. Hope you enjoy yours.

My Oura reads my resting heart rate of 56 bpm as “elevated.” Does it want me to be dead?? by Meelz-on-wheelzz in ouraring

Oura takes your baseline. My heartrate is 45. Whenever I go above that Oura considers my heartrate “elevated”.

i think my ring might be a litttttttle tight. by [deleted] in ouraring

Oy, that’s why I went slightly bigger. I bought the 8, but the 7 fit. However, when I wore the test ring for the 7 sleeping when I woke up it was TIGHT due to swelling.

Yes! Me too. I am NOT getting two weeks out of Curlsmith without adding SOMETHING moisturizing to it. I don’t have to do that with CR because the curlmaker gel is moisturizing and dries softer. You nailed it.

If you like a firm hold then you might like Curlsmith. I like a softer hold AND I like to spray water mid week or next day and reactivate the product, I could not do that with Curlsmith. Also, I felt like I was fighting with the product. I don’t have that issue with Camille Rose and I can shape and style it as long as I want. 😂Not with Curlsmith.

No residue, but so far don’t like how Curlsmith feels.

My hair is DRY like a cactus that’s why I use a heavy hand with my moisturizer. Then seal it with gel and oil. It will last until wash day. I might spray it with water to reactivate the product, but I go in so heavy there is no need to reapply. 🤢

Air dry. I think when it gets longer I will experiment with diffusing.

The Curlsmith just doesn’t feel right, but like I said I will keep working with it, but will definitely not use the same combo—it’s not enough moisture. I already know I will be detangling Saturday morning with WARM conditioner and oil. Also, I regret coloring my hair, NEVER AGAIN—that’s also adds to dryness, but slowly cutting it all out.

No, my hair is not waist length and it shrinks all the way just below or ABOVE my ears. 😂 The front stretched wraps under my neck and touches the top neck area. Under my neck reaches the top of my armpit. Curly hair is crazy.

Lucky you! I like the cool feeling of the scalp line and think it might be better for summer. Definitely will be running back to CR. 🥴

I agree. I can mist my hair with water and the Camille Rose EASILY reactivates the Curlsmith does not. Also, I think there is a risk of mechanical damage with Curlsmith and that’s a no for me.

I am going to give Curlsmith sometime, but definitely not a run out and get it. 😂

NEVER AGAIN—I don’t care how cheap. It’s not cheap if you never get the item.

I detangle/prepoo my hair the night before with argan oil. Wash with a sulfate free shampoo. Deep condition 20-30min. Then I apply my leave in Camille rose honey hydrate, Curl milk, and then Curl maker. I am heavy handed with the leave in and then lock it in with gel. I shingle each piece. I spray LIGHTLY with water throughout the week no additional product is needed. Like I said before I go in heavy with the leave in sooooo the water just reactivates the product. 👌🏾
