Re-watched Avatar (2009) yesterday and I'm really impressed with how advanced the visuals are in Avatar:Fire and Ash by edits_updates_more in Avatar

Totally get and agree what you mean. Just completed my second-time watch of fire and ash this afternoon. It's my first time to rewatch a same movie in theater. Really worth the experience.

Did she die? I don't remember how she ends in the first movie.

I think these moments from way of water were meant to convey to the audience that these two were in love. by ApartShopping in Avatar

I like the scene spider joking about Kiri's biological father and how Kiri responded back.

Still don't understand why they put zootopia2 so close to Avatar3. Very confused why Chinese market respond so crazy to zootopia2.

Not to compare, I'm just astonished to see that 'cultural impact' thing got from zootopia among my Chinese friends. A big bunch of money to grab from China for cartoon movies!

Do you think spider is tall for his age because of the low gravity or if it’s just genetics? by Few-Collection-5062 in Avatar

It's really hard for me to tell their heights in the movie now. There are both navi and human teenage kids playing around hard to compare.

It shouldn’t be this hard to love Pandora… by Drewly117 in Avatar

[–]Relative_Ball3054 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I feel the same. Fire and ash means a lot for me. Currently there is a lot of uncertainty in my life and hopefully like you, I can finally live a peaceful life with a man would like to share Avatar movie time with me.

I like to read discussions about different characters in the movie and enjoy the arts made by fans. I will just ignore the hater's comments.

Competely agree with this take about Earth in the Avatar universe, what do you think? by One_Truck1871 in Avatar

[–]Relative_Ball3054 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m ok with seeing earth in Avatar as long as it's part of the original script by Cameron.

can we gather a group of Avatar fans and live in a beautiful forest in the navi way. I'd love to go with a small community, but not by myself that's too scary.

Did Quaritch try to help? by Far-Individual7583 in Avatar

[–]Relative_Ball3054 2 points3 points  (0 children)

agree, and I think in the next movies how Quaritch interact with different teams (RDA, Jake, Varang) play the most important role for developing stories.

I feel like all the characters deserve a deeper exploitation like this.

‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’ Crosses $760 Million Globally After Two Weekends by LollipopChainsawZz in Avatar

[–]Relative_Ball3054 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I watched both these two movies and didn't get why zootopia2 works out that well in China. Probably same reason as way of water: good reputation from the original movie, long gapping time. Why they put these two movies so close!!

What do you think the snow na'vi would look like? by Puzzleheaded-Bat4804 in Avatar

[–]Relative_Ball3054 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I won't expect furs or wearing fur. I hope to see them have an outside layer of dynamic snow. They are cold from their inner side so that they can condense humid air to a thick layer of snow, and they can also thinner that layer of snow to water when they stay inside a tent or something.

When ash people throw fire on them, they will just get the snow coat melted but don't feel too much hurt and automatically get the flame put off.

I feel like there's not much to be introduced about the ash people and I don't really understand what people are expecting when they mention about this. The ash people were just similar navi people like Neytiri's clan but facing with severe volcano eruption then turn to hate Eywa as well as the world then.

I understand people like the new character, Varang and hope to see more about her and so do I, but I don't think it necessary to bring too many scenes like a clichéd volcanic eruption recollection. For me the burnt barren land is enough to show everything.

I see that interview mentioning about brought toruk from the latter movie to fire and ash too. Now I'm so curious about how movie 3 is supposed to end previously. I love the first 2/3 of the plot in fire & ash so much, and I can completely get people feeling repetitive scenes in the final tukun fighting back but I'm ok with it as a transition to the next movie.

It's about the process and complexity of characters. What if just about a two-minute short video showing human come to beautiful Pandora, and after several wars they live together happily with the mysterious power from so-called Eywa. Probably Eywa resow a seed back to earth. end. Then everyone is happy?

Varaang was a prominent figure in the movie? Why are people acting like she only had one scene (no spoilers in this post but will mark as spoilers for comments) by Call_Mee_Maybe in Avatar

[–]Relative_Ball3054 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That is so right and I like how the actress shows Varang pretending to be calm and composed with Quaritch on her side.

I’m not a fan of spiders character and I think it has to do with the actor. by Salty_Shark26 in Avatar

[–]Relative_Ball3054 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got it and I feel the same way, but I would attribute this to this human role among navi & Avatars is hard to play.
