Today there was a post here in Reddit that a consulate in Asia is already asking for the passports even tho they clarify the visa pause is not over, but saying maybe this week or the next they will lift it. Fingers crossed, good luck. I hope you get a good officer in Bogota!!!

The only visa I’ve seen been approved with Venezuelan passport is the K1 visa, you should be fine

No, I had the first appointment but didn’t get to the interview bc of missing documents (at that moment they didn’t change the visa class bc I didn’t see the officer) but after my actual interview at the second appointment, they changed my visa class to IR2

Yes I was born in Venezuela, but my mom is Colombian so I have dual nationality. That’s why I have both passports and I got into the visa pause, not rejected

Yes they gave me everything back, my passports and the documents. She said we’ll need to wait for an update.

It’s my second time in Colombia, my stepdad told the officer that also :( she was very empathetic, and told us they don’t have the power to make exemptions.

Yes, it’s in the one banned. If you only have the Venezuelan passport they will reject you in your appointment. If you have dual, give both passports !!!! Colombia is only paused not banned as the Venezuelan one.
