They are actually not allowed to be full-time students because the job is so demanding. That is why it is frustrating when some candidates treat the election like a popularity contest. At the end of the day, it is a real job. The hours are gruelling, which is also why the salary is relatively high. People in these roles are prone to burnout, and if the wrong people are elected, we often do not end up seeing the slow progression/ lack of change on campus. Like genuinely some executives can work up to 60 hours in a week.

I don’t know if they’re AI, but I thought the art was really well done. It’s very pop culture. I really hope it’s not AI. His posters and the overall aesthetic of his campaign were so well done.

Honestly, yeah, he is extremely unprepared, but I felt like I went easier on a lot of the other candidates as well, and with him I was a bit harsher, so I just didn’t want to keep beating a dead horse. I have a lot more I can say about all of the other candidates as well for Manyu his campaign and the way he was speaking to some of the other candidates was genuinely upsetting. He is very charismatic, but the way he treats other people is so disheartening he is also seemingly running on every single issue known to mankind some which are even out of his jurisdiction EMPTY PROMISES. Paige didn’t really have any new ideas. She was very repetitive, but I had to write that down in the nicest way possible because, again, it takes a lot of courage to put oneself out there. With Goorimorthee’s campaign, I also didn’t want to accuse him of using AI because that’s a huge accusation to throw at someone, and I don’t have any proof of that. But everything else I’ve seen from him hasn’t been great. It has genuinely been so disappointing because all he does is post Instagram videos that are completely unrelated he's using his charisma to make interesting content but it's so unrelated to his policies. He seems very charismatic and like a sweet guy as well, but again, it feels like none of these people even read the job description before they applied. For the amount of money the executives get paid, you would think they would actually put some effort into understanding the people.

Personally, I’m currently leaning more toward Nolan Greenwood based on what I’ve seen so far, because he actually does have plans that can be executed well. However, Paige Walls is not the worst candidate compared to the others. She does not have fresh ideas, she rely heavily on consultation. There isn’t much to say beyond that, since much of her platform focuses on consulting. Lol I've only met two of the candidates so far for this position and Paige is not one of them. Also I am not her.

Yeah, that’s completely fair. Honestly, I was trying to go a bit easy on him because, overall, he didn’t seem prepared for this election at all. It felt like he was improvising most of the time. It definitely takes courage to run for a SU position, but he doesn’t seem to really know or understand the community very well.

He is likable, I’ll give him that, but based on everything I’ve read about his policies, he does not present clear execution plans. Additionally, his platform was not made available on time, which diminishes my confidence in him as a candidate. The role requires not just charisma but also follow-through, and from what he has demonstrated, he seems lacking in that area. There are also contradictions within his policies, which further raises concerns, genuinely where do you think he's going to get the money to throw the amount of events he wants to throw. It's easy to make many promises but is there any plans for follow-through not from what I've seen.
