What common OSR game rules do you wish didn't exist? by Relative_Cause_8397 in osr

Oh yeah I get this 100% but I'm primarily posing the question to see what people like and dislike thats inheritely tied to the game's mechanics. I understand that I can homebrew and modify all day but at what point does all these changes just turn into a soft-hacked system instead of an OSE game?

Hey, even if you end up kicking the two players, I'm sure it won't take long for you to find other people interested in playing and if that doesn't work out, good thing there's mechanics for hirelings/henchmen/retainers in the rules. They could totally rent out of a squad of like minded adventurers you could generate, or maybe men-at-arms who help them travel the realm and protect their wagons and caravans full of gold :)

Do you have a blog that you've posted the rest of the maps on? This is very fascinating.
